摘要： A modular knee implant system allows a surgeon to select between several different styles of distal femoral implant components and several different styles of stem extensions while also allowing for use of a metaphyseal component. The metaphyseal component can be a universal one that is usable with all of the styles of distal femoral implant components through use of an adapter. A second adapter allows for use of stem extensions with different types of connectors with the metaphyseal component. A separate metaphyseal component could also be provided with a distal Morse taper post to mate with a distal femoral component having a proximal Morse taper bore. The metaphyseal component may have an outer surface that is configured to maximize contact area with the patient's bone, and may have a surface finish over a substantial part of its overall length that is conducive to bone ingrowth.

The portion of the block portion protruding above the sanitary fixture is fully housed within the body of the faucet. The apparatus comprises also means for fixing the block portion to the sanitary fixture. The attachment means comprises a fixing member associated with the block and moved from an insertion position in which the fixing member is axially aligned with the hole in the sanitary fixture, and a blocking position in which the fixing member is able to engage the lower surface of the sanitary fixture in which the hole is made.

In a disclosed method, a plurality of recording times of sections of a recorded program are stored in association with playback times of the recorded program. Playback intervals between sequential pairs of the playback times are compared with corresponding recording intervals between sequential pairs of the recording times to determine if any portion of the recorded program was not played back in real time.

摘要： A method and instrumentation for performing a patellofemoral arthroplasty orthopaedic procedure includes coupling an anterior cutting block to a femur of a patient such that the cutting block references local anatomy of the femur. The anterior cutting block is used to perform a number of bone cuts to establish a trochlear cavity in the femur. The trochlear cavity is formed such that a trochlear prosthesis may be inset into the cavity and substantially flush with the surrounding cartilage. A finishing burring guide and burr bit may be used to detail the shape and/or size of the trochlear cavity. Additionally, a trochlear drill guide may be used to facilitate establishing peg holes in the patient's femur to receive corresponding pegs of the trochlear prosthesis.

摘要： A container assembly for storing and dispensing viscous and other materials comprises a container body, a lid, a disc, an elongated threaded member, and a base structure. The elongated threaded member is connected to the disc and received by the base structure. Rotating the disc causes the base structure to ascend or descend within the container body such that the materials stored therein may be conveniently and efficiently dispensed. At least one scraper scrapes materials stored on the inner surface of the container body therefrom, thereby reducing wastage by retrieving otherwise difficult to dispense materials. A rotation limiter precludes rotation of the base structure while the disc is rotated, which rotation limiter may be a rail contacting the bottom of the container body or a friction fit between the base structure and the inner surface of the container body.

摘要： An apparatus for counting doses of a dispenser (12) is provided which includes a housing (14) for releasably attaching to the dispenser; and, a dose counter (30) operatively connected to the housing. The dose counter displays indicia relating to doses of the dispenser.
