The aimed compound is useful as a synthetic raw material of peroxide useful as a radical polymerization initiator or a raw material for urethane having excellent light stability and the above-mentioned method has advantage capable of simultaneously obtaining propylene oxide or butene oxide.

摘要： NEW MATERIAL:(Z)-2-Isopropenyl-5-methyl-3-hexen-1-ol of formulaI. USE:Synthetic intermediate of tetrahydrolavandulol which is used as a perfume. Further, it has floral smell by itself and is used as a perfume. It is also used as a synthetic intermediate of drugs and agricultural chemicals. PREPARATION:A lower alkyl ester of chrysanthemum-monocarboxylic acid is subjective to thermal cleavage under normal or reduced pressure at 400-600 deg.C to give a substituted diene-carboxylic acid ester of formula II (R is lower alkyl). Then, the lower alkoxycarbonyl group in the compound of formula II is selectively reduced into methylol to give the compound of formulaI. As a reducing agent for the above reaction, is used an aluminum hydride or boron hydride compound.

Then the lower alkoxycarbonyl of the compound of formula IV is reduced into methylol to give the compound of formulaI.

EFFECT:A variety of aimed compounds may be selectively produced by changing a substituent of an organolithium compound. USE:An intermediate for a medicine, an agricultural chemical, and a perfume, e.g. alpha- or beta-santalol.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain hydrogen peroxide advantageouly in an industrial operation avoiding the risk of explosion in with and requiring the of a high pressure by reacting oxygen with hydrogen in a supercritical fluid containing a catalyst in the production of hydrogen peroxide from oxygen and hydrogen. SOLUTION: This method is carried out by reacting oxygen with hydrogen in a supercritical fluid containing a catalyst. The supercritical fluid is a liquid having a higher pressure than the critical pressure and a higher temperature than the critical temperature, and the critical temperature is preferable to be -20-100 deg.C. As a result, it is possible to react at a preferable temperature in the production of hydrogen peroxide. Although the critical pressure is not particularly limited, a pressure of less than 300atm is preferable from an industrial and economical point of view. As the most preferable supercritical fluid, the supercritical fluid of carbon dioxide is illustrated. It is preferable that the pressure of the reactant is 73-300atm and its temperature is 31-100 deg.C. A substance having a metal belonging to groups 9, 10 and/or 11 is illustrated as the catalyst.

The amount of the solvent used is preferably 2/1-1/2 volume ratio of water/the organic solvent. The amount of the whole mixed solvent is preferably 0.2-21 based on 1mol compound shown by formula II.
