摘要： The present disclosure relates to methods and devices for wireless communication including an apparatus, e.g., a user equipment (UE) and/or base station. In one aspect, the apparatus can determine to enter into a two-step RACH procedure in an RRC inactive state. The apparatus can also determine to transmit uplink data in a payload of a message A (MsgA) of the two-step RACH procedure. The apparatus can also transmit the MsgA of the two-step RACH procedure, the MsgA including the payload, the payload including at least the uplink data. Additionally, the apparatus can monitor for a MsgB of the two-step RACH procedure. The apparatus can also receive the MsgB of the two-step RACH procedure, where the MsgB includes a fallback indication including a fallback RAR. Further, the apparatus can retransmit the payload of the MsgA when the MsgB including the fallback indication is received.

摘要： A method, an apparatus, and a computer program product for wireless communication are provided. In one aspect, an apparatus supports multiple radio access technologies (RATs), and has a single radio configured to provide a circuit-switched (CS) and packet switched (PS) connectivity. The apparatus sends a request for combined registration to a first network entity and detects whether circuit-switched fallback (CSFB) support is available to the apparatus in the first network. The request for combined registration may include a request for concurrent registration with a packet switched (PS) service of the first network and a CS service of a second network using a second RAT. The apparatus enables a single radio LTE (SR-LTE) operation, to maintain the availability of PS service in the first network, when the requested combined registration is not accepted by the first network entity. The SR-LTE operation and related techniques provided herein enable CS and PS service for voice- centric devices without regard to network support for CSFB operation.

摘要： Configuring a peer-to-peer (P2P) link in a multi-access wireless network includes receiving P2P configuration information from a base station at a UE supporting P2P communication. The first UE communicates directly with a second UE based on the P2P configuration information received from the base station. The first UE may send a configuration request message to the base station, and receive a responsive configuration message with the P2P configuration information from the base station, which messages may be Radio Resource Control (RRC) messages supporting P2P. In the alternative, the P2P configuration information may be provided in a system information block (SIB) broadcast by the base station. The P2P configuration information may indicate allocation of physical layer or Medium Access Control resources, or both allocated for P2P communication, and other information.
