摘要： The present invention relates to a process for manufacturing a reinforcing structure of a tyre for vehicle wheels, on a toroidal support comprising an outer surface, by means of at least one laying element (6), which can be oriented in space in a controlled way; said laying element (6) comprising a laying surface adapted to act on a portion of a rubberized strip-like element (5) for laying the same on the outer surface (3a) of the toroidal support; the reinforcing structure comprises at least a first and a second radially superimposed reinforcing layers each comprising a plurality of strip-like elements (5); each reinforcing layer has a circumferential extension about a rotation axis of the tyre and comprises thread-like reinforcing elements, arranged parallel to one another; the layers are arranged so that the reinforcing thread-like elements of the first reinforcing layer are oriented obliquely with respect to the equatorial plane (Y-Y) of the tyre, and that the reinforcing thread-like elements of the second reinforcing layer also have an oblique orientation, crossed with respect to the thread-like elements of the first layer.

摘要： There are described a plant and a process for producing tyres for vehicle wheels, said process comprising the steps of: a) building a carcass structure of a green tyre on a first forming drum (6) in at least one carcass structure building line (2, 2'), said carcass structure comprising at least one carcass ply and a pair of annular anchoring structures; b) building a crown structure of a green tyre on at least one second forming drum (7) in at least one crown structure building line (3, 3'), said crown structure comprising at least one belt structure and a tread band; c) toroidally shaping said carcass structure assembling it to said crown structure in at least one assembling and shaping work station (4) for the tyre being processed, said assembling and shaping work station (4) being synchronised with said carcass structure building line (2, 2') and with said crown structure building line (3, 3'); wherein each carcass structure is associated with the respective first forming drum (6) whereon it is built up to the end of step c) of shaping and assembling the tyre being processed; d) moulding and vulcanizing the green shaped tyre in at least one tyre moulding and vulcanizing line (5) separate from said assembling and shaping work station (4).

The deposition of the at least one reinforcing element comprises the steps of : providing at least one reinforcing element (1) having a length determined as a function of the length of the deposition region; deforming the at least one reinforcing element (1) to form an annular reinforcing element having a shape substantially corresponding to the shape of the deposition region; depositing the annular reinforcing element at the deposition region. An apparatus (100) for carrying out such a process is also described.
