摘要： A system for a server-less peer-to-peer data network for content transfer between wireless devices is described. The system includes a first wireless device having a first address and content, and a second wireless device. The first wireless device transmits a message including the first address over a first service. The second wireless device receives the message from the first wireless device and establishes a communication path to the first address over a second service to receive the content from the first wireless device. A method embodiment includes transmitting a message from a first wireless device to a second wireless device over a first service, wherein the message includes a first address. The method further includes establishing, by the second wireless device, a communication path over a second service to the first address to receive content from the first wireless device after receiving the message from the first wireless device.

The processor unit (or the I/O circuit) detects connection of a device to an earphone/microphone connector of the mobile electronic device and determines whether the connected device is a data input device. If the connected device is a data input device, the processor unit is programmed to extract data from modulated data signals generated by data input device.

By way of example, a DMC can be distributed to a mobile device based on criteria established by a sponsor of the DMC. A redemption value of the DMC can be variable and dynamically established based at least in part on data associated with a recipient mobile device. Upon redemption of the DMC at a retail entity, the value is fixed and applied to a transaction. Details of the transaction are provided to a remote clearinghouse that performs mediation and indemnification functions to finalize the transaction. As described, the subject disclosure provides a DMC that facilitates a rich and flexible mechanism to generate purchasing incentive for consumers in a mobile environment.

The system includes a notification manager, multiple event notifier programs, multiple requester programs, a map, and a notification dictionary. When loaded by the notification manager, each event notifier program detects certain prescribed events. When advised by notifier programs of events, the notification manger consults the map to identify the requester programs registered for those events and any applicable notification parameters. Then the notification manger loads the requestor programs registered for those events, and notifies them of the occurrence of the events according to the applicable notification parameters.
