    • A system and method for SSS detection under carrier frequency offset in an orthogonal frequency-division multiple access (OFDMA) downlink channel. A processor receives a signal sample that includes a transmission on a primary synchronization signal (PSS) and a transmission on a secondary synchronization signal (SSS). The processor determines a correlation "P" of a first symbol transmitted in the PSS of the signal sample to a first known symbol at each time "t" of time increments k of the signal sample and a correlation "S" of a second symbol transmitted in the a SSS to a second known symbol at each time t-.5/7msecs. The processor receives a candidate phase rotation of θ?i#191 from a set of "i" candidates and determines a correlation "Cmax" over the time increments k representing a maximum amplitude of a combined correlation of S and P, with P rotated by θ?i#191. The processor determines the cell identifier from the first and second known symbols that produced S and P of C max and an estimation of the frequency offset between a transmitter of the signal sample and a receiver of the signal sample.

    • A thermally insulated cup (1, 20, 30) made from paperboard, the cup comprising a tubular wall (3), a closed base (5) at a lower end (11) and an open top (6) defined at an upper end (12).     • A frusto-conical cup (1, 20, 30, 40, 50) made from a flexible resilient material, having a circular rim (5) defining the top opening (6) of the cup. In the closed mode, the rim of one flap impinges against the inner face of the second flap and forms a spill-tight seal between the flaps.     • A method and system is disclosed for controlling packet communications between a first computer network (12) and a second computer network (16). A driver module implemented in a first computer (14) extracts information about an application session and a network address and port used by the first computer for sending packets of the application session to a second computer in the second computer network when the first computer initially determining a port for the application session. The driver module sends the extracted information to a gateway node (18) of the first computer network, the gateway node being implemented with a server module and the gateway node monitoring one or more packets exchanging between the first and second computer networks. A look-up table is then established for recording the relation between the application and the network address and port used by the first computer for the application. The packet communications between the first and second networks are thus controlled by the gateway node based on the established look-up table.
