摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a steel sheet for a fuel tank excellent in working characteristics by specifying the thickness of a zinc-tin plating layer formed on a substrate palating layer on the surface of a steel sheet and the shape of zinc crystals in the plating layer and the roughness of the surface of the plating layer. SOLUTION: On the surface the steel sheet to be applied with plating, an allay layer contg. one or more kinds among nickel, iron, zinc and tin is made present by a thickness of 1.5μm per side. On the surface of the above substrate plating layer, a zinc-tin plating layer composed of zinc and tin with inevitable impurities is formed by a thickness of 2 to 25μm per side. As for zinc crystals in the above zinc-tin plating layer, the ones having >=250Mm major axis are present by from the viewpoint of the plated surface. Moreover, the roughness of the surface of the plating layer is regulated to 0.2 to 3.0Ra. Thus, its workability improves, and the corrosion resistance at the inside face even in the case of being into fuel tank parts improves.

摘要： PURPOSE:To carry out hot dipping for sticking thin films to both sides of a steel strip to the required extent of sticking by supplying electric current to the steel strip passed through a hot dipping bath in the lateral direction of the strip, generating a magnetic field in the thickness direction of the strip, and blowing gas in the range of electromagnetic force. CONSTITUTION:Electric current is supplied to a steel strip 1 passed through a hot dipping bath 2 from electrodes 4 in the lateral direction of the strip 1 to heat molten metal 5 stuck to the strip 1. A magnetic field is generated in the thickness direction of the strip 1 with fixed magnets 7 to reduce the thickness of the molten metal 5 by electromagnetic force induced on the molten metal 2 side. High pressure gas is then blown from nozzles 8 in the range of the electromagnetic force to wipe off an excess of the molten metal 5. By this method, the thickness of molten metal stuck can be reduced and the passing speed of the strip can be increased.

SOLUTION: In the facility having a bypass device in the non-oxidizing atmosphere which directly guides the steel plate from a continuously annealing furnace to a water quenching device in the line where the continuously annealing furnace, a plating pot and a plating device and the water quenching device are arranged, a sealing mechanism is provided on the outlet side of the continuously annealing furnace and on the inlet side of the water quenching device. At least one of the devices constituting the sealing mechanism on the outlet side of the continuously annealing furnace is preferably a non-contact seal, the sealing mechanism on the inlet side of the water quenching mechanism comprises a plurality of devices, and an exhaust fan for sucking the atmosphere between the devices is preferably arranged. Thus, the manufacturing yield of hot-dip products and continuously annealed products is improved, and the productivity is also improved.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new rustproof steel sheet for a fuel tank using no Pb by studying various factors on the material side affecting the soldering and brazing property, and properly controlling the contact resistance value of the surface. SOLUTION: A small contact resistance value is desirable in view of a soldering and brazing property, the contact resistance value is set to 0.1-8 mΩ for increasing a resistance welding property, and the contact resistance value is preferably set to 0.1-3 mΩ for reconciling the resistance welding property and soldering and brazing property. Factors controlling the contact resistance value include surface roughness and the film thickness of the most surface in an Sn-plated steel sheet. When the surface roughness is above 2 μm in RMS, the thickness of the surface film has irregularities, local heating easily occurs, and the resistance welding property becomes inferior. Some kind of film contributing to contact resistance is applied to the surface of the steel sheet, the film is an industrial chemical conversion coating or an organic resin film, and the total film quantity is set to 2 g/m2 or below on one face.

In this case, a hot-dipped aluminum-coated steel sheet having a resin film on an outermost surface of an inner face or/and an outer face is used as a constituent member of the fuel container. Or, a hot-dipped aluminum-coated steel sheet having a resin chromate film on a surface of an inner face or/and an outer is face used as a constituent member, and the thickness of the resin film or the resin chromate film is set to a scope of 0.1 to 2μm. Consequently, it is possible to eliminate Pb pollution in environment and obtain the fuel container excellent in corrosion resistance.

SOLUTION: A steel plate having an alloy layer having 25-50% of Fe, 3-18% of Si, 0.05-0.8% of Cr, 0.1-5% of Mn, a remaining part of Al with a thickness of 5 p or below and a plating layer having 1% or below of Fe, 2-12% of Si, 0.005-0.3% of Mn, 0.002-0.08% of Cr, 1% or below of Zn+Sn, a remaining part of Al has excellent plating adhesion which can endure severe press working and corrosion resistance after working. This steel plate can be manufactured by plating a steel plate with a plating bath of a composition having 3-12% of Si, 0.5-2.5% of Fe, 0.05-1% of Mn, 0.02-0.15% of Cr, 1% or below of Zn+Sn, and a remaining part of Al. When it is annealed at 300-500 deg.C for 5-20hr., the performance is further improved.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a rust preventive steel sheet having excellent press workability and corrosion resistance when being used as an automotive fuel tank. SOLUTION: A steel sheet for deep drawing, preferably the one contg. C, Si, Al, Ti and Nb and furthermore contg., if necessary, B is plated by an Al plating bath contg. 3 to 12% Si to regulate the plating weight to 30 to 300g/m by both sides, which is thereafter cooled to 300 deg.C at >=10 deg.C/sec average cooling rate. After that, annealing treatment is executed at 200 to 500 deg.C for 5 to 20hr. If required, this steel sheet is coated with resin contg. 20 to 90% metal powder by 2 to 100μm thickness, and the uppermost surface layer is coated with organic lubricating coating by 1 to 10μm thickness according to necessary. Thus, the steel sheet produced by this method has excellent plating adhesion and corrosion resistance after working so as to withstand severe press working.
