CONSTITUTION:When an intermediate pressure steam turbine is started, steam generated in a boiler 1 is introduced into a condenser 11 through a high pressure turbine by-pass valve 4, low temperature reheating pipe 17, reheater and low temperature turbine by-pass valve 19 and condensated there. Likewise, an intercept by-pass valve 7 is opened and reheat steam is introduced into an intermediate turbine 9 to start a speed-up. And then, at the same time as the above- mentioned valve 7 opens, reheat steam is introduced into a high pressure turbine 5 through a reheat steam control valve 22 and simultaneously said control valve 22 operates so as to adjust an opening so that it may decrease a temperature difference between a metal temperature of the high pressure turbine 5 and a reheat steam temperature. Hereby the shortening of a starting time and the improvement in durability of the turbine are contrived.

CONSTITUTION:Grooves 15 as return guides are provided near through holes 10a of a blade casing 6 at positions opposed to bent parts of protrusions 9a of blades 8. Bent guides 15a are formed from the through holes 10a to the grooves 15, and also return guides 15b are formed by the grooves 15. Then the protrusions 9a of the blades 8 are bent by a rotational roller 13 of a roller bending device 6 to connect the casing 6 to the blades 8. By this, when further compression is given from the rotational roller 13 to a bent part 9c of the protrusions 9a of the blades 8, a stepped section of the casing 2 and the grooves 15 is sheared or bent to fit closely to the stepped section. By this deformation, the blades 8 are fitted tightly to the casing 6 to increase its tensile strength.
