Then, a position S1 is estimated based on the relationship between the positions A1 and A2 and the emitting interval of the laser light. Then, a region B2 is set. When there is the particle A3 in the region B2, a position S2 at a time 4 is estimated based on the positions A2 and A3 and the emitting interval. Then, a region B3 is set. When there is the particle A4 in the region B,, the specified preset judgment is performed. When conditions are satisfied, the fact of the same particle is judged. The moving speed of the particle is determined based on the positions A1 and A and the distances and the times at the times 1 and 4.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the tension fluctuation of a steel strip during revolving, and to improve the treating capacity in coiling by reducing the time of revolution, by revolving a coiler itself at a specific speed, in coiling the strip by the coiler constituted of two vertically installed reels. CONSTITUTION:Two reels 2, 3 rotated by motors 5, 6 are attached to the main body 1 of a disk-shaped coiler. After coiling firstly a steel strip by the reel 2, a gear 7 engaged with the peripheral part of the body 1 is rotated by a motor 8 to revolve the body 1 by 180 deg. thereby the strip is coiled by the reel 3. In this case, a revolving speed pattern of the body 1 is converted into a rotating speed pattern expressed by an equation ( I ), by a sinusoidal wave, outputted from a function generator 12 actuated by a timer 13 or a revolving angle of the body 1, through a speed controlling circuit 11. Because the tension fluctuation of the strip, while the body 1 is revolved by 180 deg., is small, and also the body 1 can be remolved at high speed, the treating capacity in coiling is improved.
