摘要： PURPOSE:To extend a video storage time, and to stably convert a variable density bar to a binary-coding signal, by dividing a photoelectric element train of an image sensor into at least 2 groups of equal interval element trains, and scanning them alternately. CONSTITUTION:A video of a bar code is photoelectrically converted by a photodiode train 8a. Odd signal charge obtained by the photodiode train 8a is shifted to a shift register 8c-1 through a transfer gate 8b-1, and even signal charge is shifted to a shift register 8c-2 through a transfer gate 8b-2. Outputs of the shift registers 8c-1, 8c-2 are synthesized at an output gate 8d, and are made a single output.

The output of the sensor 21 is amplified in an amplifier 4 by the clock of a reference clock generating circuit 3 and is subjected to A/D conversion in a converter 5 to be coded into binary and is inputted to a microcomputer 6, and the matching between every character of the character train 1a and standard character patterns, which are stored in a non-volatile memory of the microcomputer 6, is checked to recognize the character train 1a, and a signal 6a for driving an external device is outputted. Thus, information of the label is read accurately only by covering the label with the aperture face. A bar-code label is processed similarly.

摘要： PURPOSE:To facilitate the mounting to the window glass and to obtain the sufficient detecting accuracy by detecting the blur on a mirror surface which is attached to the inside of the window glass, with an excellent heat conductivity with the window glass being maintained. CONSTITUTION:The mirror surface 3 is formed at the central part of one side of a metal plate 2. The other side thereof is bonded to the window glass 1 and fixed. Legs 4a of a case 4 is bonded to the plate 2 and fixed. A light emitting element 6 and a light receiving element 7 are fixed to the case 4. Light 6a from the light emitting element 6 is reflected by the mirror 3 and reaches the light receiving element 7, and the output voltage is generated across output terminals 13a and 13b. Based on the relationship between the temperature of the window glass and humidity of the air in the inside, the mirror surface 3 blurs when the inside of the window glass begins to blur. Then, the reflectivity at the mirror surface 3 becomes small, the output voltage is decreased, and the blur of the window glass can be detected. In this way, the compact device can be fabricated, and mounting can be readily performed. Since the mirror surface is protected by the plate and the case, high detecting accuracy can be obtained.
