    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brazing material for use in the bonding in atmosphere, which can be melted at a temperature equal to or lower than the melting point of Ag and achieves an improvement in high-temperature durability of a bonded article, and to provide a bonded article and a current collector material having high-temperature durability.SOLUTION: The brazing material for use in the bonding in atmosphere contains Ag, B and Si as essential components, wherein the sum total of the ratios of the contents of the constituent elements other than Ag is set at more than 50% by volume and 90% by volume or less, the ratio of the content of Si in the total content of the constituent elements other than Ag is set at more than 22% by volume, and the ratio of the content of B in the total content of the constituent elements other than Ag is set at more than 14% by volume. For example, as illustrated in Fig.4, in a bonding layer 13 in a bonded test specimen after the retention of a sample at a high temperature, a void 16 (Fig.6) as observed in a bonded test specimen after the retention of a comparative sample is not observed, and it is confirmed that the brazing material is fully melted and good air-tightness can be kept after the retention at a high temperature for a long time.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a brazing material for bonding in atmosphere, which has a low melting point and therefore can have a low bonding temperature in atmosphere without using any flux; a bonded article which is bonded using the brazing material and can have good air tightness and bonding strength; and a current collecting material.SOLUTION: The brazing material for bonding in atmosphere contains Ag and B as the essential components, wherein the content of Ag is, by volume, ≥50% and 8% and ≤50%, and the total amount of Ag, B and inevitable impurities is adjusted to be 100%. The component B is a low melting point material which can be oxidized at about 300°C or higher to produce an oxide having a relatively low melting point (about 577°C). By containing B as the essential component, the brazing material can have a low melting point. For example, as illustrated in Fig.4, a powder of B (reference No. 14) and molten Ag (reference No. 15) are observed in a bonding layer 13 in a bonding test specimen, which demonstrates that the brazing material for bonding in atmosphere has been melted.
