摘要： An exhaust gas filter comprises an outer tube, a plurality of center-closing filter units each having an isolation plate; and a plurality of center-opening filter units having an annular isolation plate, two kinds of filter units being arranged alternately in the outer tube. The isolation plate and annular isolation plate are enclosed by flammable fibers. When a contaminated gas goes through the flammable fibers, it can be filtrated.

摘要： An anode foil and a cathode foil which has an oxidation film layer on the surface are separated by a separator and wound to form a capacitor element and then anodic forming is performed on this capacitor element. Next, the capacitor element is immersed in a solution of less than 10 wt %, preferably between 2.0 and 9 wt %, more preferably between 5 and 8 wt % of polyimide silicone dissolved in a ketone solvent, and after removing, the solvent is evaporated off at between 40 and 100° C. and heat treating is performed at 150 to 200° C. Next, this capacitor element was immersed in a mixture of polymeric monomer and oxidizing agent and the conductive monomer was made to polymerize in the capacitor element to form a solid electrolyte layer. Furthermore, this capacitor element was stored in an external case and the open end was sealed with sealing rubber to form the solid electrolytic capacitor.

Polishing apparatus incorporating the polishing lap preferably include a light source for directing a beam of light toward the transparent portion of the polishing lap to enable the light beam to reflect from the working surface of the workpiece as the workpiece is being polished by the polishing lap. The apparatus also preferably includes a light detector for detecting light reflected from the surface of the workpiece. Such light can provide information, as on the status of the working surface as polishing progresses and can provide an indication of when polishing has reached a desired end point.

摘要： A facing surface of a clutch piston is previously moved to a position just before it abuts against an inner surface of a torque converter cover, or a position in which it extremely slightly abuts against the inner surface of the torque converter cover by outputting an initial engage pressure YMIN set in accordance with a vehicle speed and the like only for a predetermined time TMPS prior to the start of engagement of a lockup clutch. When the engagement of the lockup clutch is started, the engage pressure is gradually increased. When the engage pressure approaches a target pressure set in accordance with the target speed ratio, a feedback control of the engage pressure is carried out such that the actual speed ratio of the torque converter is converged to the target speed ratio. Thus, when the lockup clutch of the torque converter is brought into an engaged state, the responsiveness can be enhanced while preventing the generation of a shock.
