摘要： An escalator or moving walkway comprises a balustrade base, an illumination profile disposed in the base and a transparent cover through which illumination is provided. An illumination strip is located within the illumination profile, and has a plurality of LED lamps. A reflecting surface is provided on the illumination profile, and is aligned such that at least a portion of the light emitted by the LED lamps impinging upon the surface is reflected in the direction of the cover, facilitating an even level of illumination.

摘要： An escalator or moving walkway has a step belt or plate of motor-driven steps or plates and free-running steps or plates. Running rails are arranged upon transverse elements of a support construction, and have a respective running surface for step rollers and a running surface for chain rollers. The step rollers are connected with the step or plate body by means of arms. A secondary part of a linear motor is connected to the step or plate body by means of pins. A guide rail for guidance and drive of the steps or plates is centrally provided along a forward running part or return running part of the escalator or walkway, wherein the primary part of the linear motor is integrated in the guide rail. Each motor step or plate is provided with a brake which acts on the guide rail.

The foot is bounded on opposite sides by two foot surfaces that are arranged at a foot-surface angle to each other. The foot cradle has two complimentary supporting surfaces against which the foot surfaces rest. The supporting surfaces are vertically movable, allowing the foot and transportation system structure to be raised or lowered, and the vertical adjustment thereby takes place.

At least one further friction-wheel arranged on a step chain-wheel drives the friction-wheel through frictional or mechanical engagement.

摘要： An escalator or a moving walkway includes a support structure and a soffit plate. A first side edge region of the soffit plate is fixedly connected with the support structure. In addition, the soffit plate is biased between the first side edge region and a second side edge region, which is opposite the first side edge region, by a predetermined biasing force. In order to maintain the bias the second side edge region is fixedly connected with the support structure, wherein through the maintenance of the biasing force a stiffness of the support structure is increased and in operation of the escalator or the moving walkway the output of noise is reduced.

A production control system controls execution of the assembly steps and individual movement of the transportation systems between assembly stations, such that each transportation system is alternately moved and subjected to assembly steps. The assembly steps proceed in a rhythm (T) that is defined by a pre-specified fixed standard assembly-time window T.
