    • A method and device are configured to receive, in simultaneous communication with stations via a wireless interface power control, commands from the stations. The method and device are configured to receive from a control unit further control information associated with a transmission parameter for use by the device for one or more transmissions to one of the stations other than the station that received transmissions from the device with a best quality parameter. The method and device are also configured to control one or more transmissions from the device to the one of the stations on the basis of a power control command from the station that receives transmissions from the device with the best quality parameter, and on the basis of the further control information received from the control unit. The further control information comprises a control command selected from control commands by the control unit.

    • Format of a downlink control channel for a user equipment UE is changed in conjunction with switching the UE between being enabled for cross carrier scheduling and being disabled for cross carrier scheduling. The changed format is used on at least one serving cell of the UE's configured set of component carriers CCs. In one embodiment the changed format comprises an explicit carrier indicator field CIF for the case in which the switching is from disabled to enabled; and the changed format has no explicit CIF when the switching is from enabled to disabled. In another embodiment switching from disabled to enabled comprises the UE's configured set of CCs being changed from one to multiple cells; and switching from enabled to disabled comprises the UE's configured set of CCs being changed from multiple cells to one cell. In one embodiment the changed format is implicit.

    • In a method for communication between a first station (BS1) and a second station (MS1) the first station may provide the second station with information associated with the manner how the second station should transmit towards the first station. The second station (MS1) may then transmit e.g. a response to a message from the first station (BS1) based on said information. That is, the second station (MS1) may e.g. use a specific transmission parameter for the transmission instead of transmitting in a manner the second station would have transmitted had it not been provided with said information. A communication system and stations for the communication system embodying the method are also disclosed.

    • Several mobile station identifiers are allocated to one mobile station, one for each of a plurality of possible signalling channel structures, parameters, or both. When receiving the signalling channels, the mobile station searches for all identifiers allocated for it in the received signalling channels. When it finds one that matches, it may for instance check a mapping table (agreed at the connection setup between mobile station and the network by RRC signalling) to determine what this identifier means. The signalling channel structure, parameters, or both, used in the transmission may be implicitly or explicitly indicated by the identifier. The mobile station (User Equipment) should monitor the signalling channels in the normal way. Instead of looking for only one identifier, however, the mobile station should monitor several identifiers belonging to it.
