    • PURPOSE:To prevent generation of a fish-tail in a slab receiving a rolling process by rolling the edge of a slab in the direction of its breadth so as to reduce the breadth, and at the same time, by rolling the slab so as to give a gradually reduced rolling reduction to the breadth of the part continuing to said edge toward the longitudinal middle zone. CONSTITUTION:An edge of a slab 1 is rolled in the direction of breadth by a press die 6 parallel to the end plane of the slab 1. At the same time, the part continuing to said parallelly rolled edge toward the longitudinal middle zone, is rolled by a tapered press die which gives a breadth reduction gradually diminished toward the middle zone. By the present method, a tail end restrainer becomes needless, a preliminary formation can be performed without generating laps, and the generation of a fish-tail by a rolling process is prevented. The shape of the die 6 to be employed by the present edging process is selected so as to place the neutral point of deformation of the slab 1 by a press work behind the border between the parallel zone 6a and the tapered zone 6b.

CONSTITUTION:A cover, prepared by adhering a steel disk 7 to a petal type rubber sheet 8, is set with aligning springs 6, 9 to an upper punch head, for instance, of a three thread press machine, etc., to be used in forming a metallic sheet into a composite curved surface such as a bow, stern, etc. The material of this cover is optionally selected. Then, a lower punch head 1a near to the middle of the punch train, for instance, presses a metallic sheet 5 to an upper punch head 3a, and then, a head 1b on the outer side of the punch train goes up further while bending the sheet 5. The cover of the head 1b slides upon the face of the head 1b with the movement of the contact surface caused by bending of the sheet 5 so that the head 1b increases its inclination. As a result, there is no sliding part between the sheet 5 and the cover contacting with the sheet 5, so that the sheet 5 is not hurted.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide hydrogen production equipment that is capable of effective heating to prevent the deterioration of hydrogen permeation capabilities and is capable of compaction and of easily conducting maintenance, processing, production and assembling.
      SOLUTION: In the hydrogen production equipment which produces hydrogen from a process gas by means of a catalyst by heating with a combustion gas and withdraws the produced hydrogen by a hydrogen separation membrane module which forms a space for the permeated side therein, divided by a metal membrane selectively permeating only hydrogen, the hydrogen production equipment is constituted so that the hydrogen separation membrane module is incorporated into every each reaction tube of a plurality of reaction tubes and prevents the deterioration of hydrogen permeation capabilities by allowing the combustion gas to flow along the trunk part of the reaction tube so as to enable the reaction part to be effectively heated. The hydrogen production equipment is unitized by the stacking of a prulariry of the reaction tubes so that the processing, the preparation and the assembling become easy and the maintenance by the unit of the reaction tube becomes possible. Also, the easy maintenance of the hydrogen separation membrane is acommplished.
