摘要： An OLED includes a substrate having a circuit region and a pixel region. At least one circuit Thin Film Transistor (TFT) and at least one pixel TFT are respectively arranged on the circuit region and the pixel region. Each TFT has a semiconductor layer, a gate electrode, a source electrode and a drain electrode. A pixel electrode is electrically connected to one of the source and drain electrodes of the pixel TFT. At least one silicon nitride layer is arranged between the source and drain electrodes and the substrate and is opened in the entire pixel region.

A semiconductor island disposed on the insulating island and an active layer disposed on the gate insulating layer are patterned from a third layer. An insulating layer is disposed on the TFTs, the capacitor, and between the semiconductor island and the data line. An upper electrode of the capacitor, source/drain electrodes of the TFT, and the data line are patterned from a fourth layer.

摘要： An organic electroluminescent display in which a black matrix with a concentration gradient of a transparent material and a metallic material is formed on the same surface as a pixel electrode. The black matrix and a pixel electrode of the organic electroluminescent display are formed using only one masking operation. The black matrix has a concentration gradient of a continuous gradient structure in which constituents of the transparent material are continuously decreased while constituents of the metallic material are continuously increased as a thickness of the black matrix is increased, a step gradient structure in which the constituents of the transparent material are gradually decreased while the constituents of the metallic material are gradually increased as the thickness of the black matrix is increased, or a multi-gradient structure in which the continuous gradient structure and/or the step gradient structure are repeated.

摘要： The claimed invention is directed to a flat panel display having R, G, and B unit pixels. At least one of the R, G, and B unit pixels includes at least two or more transistors, each having source and drain regions. At least one drain region in the source/drain regions of at least one transistor in the transistors has a resistance value different from a resistance value of at least a drain region of the other transistor. The difference in resistance values may be accomplished by doping each drain region with a different concentration of dopant or by shaping each drain region differently.

摘要： An optical system for a scanning probe microscope provides both an optical on-axis view and an optical oblique view of the sample by means of two optical paths each providing an image to a CCD camera via an auto-zoom lens. A shutter alternately blocks the image of either view from reaching the auto-zoom lens. The CCD camera provides the optical image to a video display which also displays the scanning probe image, thus eliminating the need for eyepieces and allowing easy viewing of both the optical and scanning probe images simultaneously.
