    • A pellet making machine used in a pellet producing process has a rotary cutter mounted to the outer periphery of a hollow rotary shaft. A fixed blade is disposed opposite to the rotary cutter, and a pellet exhaust chute is disposed below the rotary cutter and slopes downwardly therefrom. The rotary cutter is provided with an interior cooling chamber and the hollow rotary shaft is provided with water inflow holes and exhaust holes communicating with the cooling chamber of the rotary cutter. A water supply tube extends into the hollow rotary shaft and is supported within the shaft by a partition wall, which also forms a water supply passage communicating with the water inflow holes of the hollow rotary shaft and a water exhaust passage communicating with the water exhaust holes of the hollow rotary shaft. A bad pellet drop cylinder is disposed along the sloping face of the pellet exhaust chute, and a guide cover is pivotably mounted for opening and closing movement on the upper entrance of the bad pellet drop cylinder.

    • An arrangement in a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus for producing image data of an object being examined. The object is subjected to magnetic fields and RF pulse signals which produce echo signals. The echo signals which represent views of the object are detected. Data collecting circuitry selectively performs a data collection process on the detected echo signals to produce collected data such that, for those echo signals of a relatively small strength, part of the data collection process is suppressed and, for those echo signals of a relatively great strength, the data collection process is performed a plurality of times under identical operating conditions. A data processor processes the collected data to produce view data such that, for the echo signals for which the data collection process has been suppressed, interpolation data is produced and, for the echo signals for which the data collection process has been performed a plurality of times, a summing and averaging operation is performed on the collected data. The data processor combines the interpolation data with the summed and averaged data thereby producing view data. An image constructor performs a Fourier transform on the view data thereby constructing image data.

    • A fuel mixture heating device of an internal combustion engine having a downdraft type carburetor mounted on the collecting portion of the intake manifold. A hollow cylindrical heater vessel is arranged at the lower end of the air horn of the carburetor. The heater vessel comprises an inner pipe, an outer pipe and PTC elements inserted between the inner pipe and the outer pipe for heating the inner pipe before the completion of warm-up of the engine. The inner pipe has a thin wall having a corrugated cross-section. The inner wall of the PTC elements are in contact with the outer wall of the inner pipe. An air gap is present between the outer pipe and the outer walls of the PTC elements. A plurality of plate springs is inserted between the outer pipe and the corresponding PTC elements.
