    • PURPOSE:To achieve transfer-type thermal recording to give gradated full-color stable images, by a method wherein a sublimable dye of a transfer-type thermal recording sheet is thermally transferred to a transfer-type thermal recording medium by heating, and amino groups of the dye and glycidyl groups of the recording medium are brought into reaction with each other to fix the transferred dye. CONSTITUTION:A transfer-type thermal recording sheet 8 is obtained by coating a shielding film 2 with a binder 3 containing a sublimable dye 4 having an amino group dispersed therein, whereas a transfer-type thermal recording medium 9 is obtained by coating a base 6 with a resin material having glycidyl groups. When the binder 3 is heated by a thermal head 1 through the film 2, the sublimable dye 4 having the amino group is sublimed, and reacts with the resin material 7 having the glycidyl group, whereby the dye is fixed. In addition to the heating by the thermal head, the recording medium may be heated by a heated roll, a flash lamp or the like after recording, whereby the above reaction can be made to proceed sufficiently.

    • PURPOSE: To obtain a water-soluble antioxidant having high oxidation prevention ability, by bringing a water-insoluble tocopherol into contact with cyclodextrin under specific conditions, so that tocopherol is included in cyclodextrin.
      CONSTITUTION: For example, cyclodextrin is packed into a column, tocopherol is dissolved in a solvent such as ethyl ether, etc. to dissolve only tocopherol, made to flow into the column, then, cyclodextrin is taken out, and the colvent is removed to give the aimed antioxidant wherein tocopherol is included in cyclodextrin.
      USE: An inhibitor for fading of water-soluble dye, an inhibitor for deterioration of water-soluble plastic.

    • PURPOSE: To obtain a water-soluble photopolymerization inititor which has excellent reproducibility and does not suffer decrease in polymerization initiating ability, by dissolving a photopolymerization initiator in a solvent which can not dissolve cyclodextrin and passing this solution through a column packed with cyclodextrin.
      CONSTITUTION: A photopolymerization initiator is dissolved in a solvent which can dissolve the initiator but can no dissolve cyclodextrin. This solution is passed through a columnm packed with cyclodextrin, and this cyclodextrin is withdrawn and dried. Examples of the cyclodextrins which can be applied include α-, β- and γ-cyclodextrins. Examples of the photopolymerization initiators include benzoin and benzoin ethyl ether. Examples of the solvents used include ethyl ether, dichloroethane and chloroform. The amount of the cyclodextrin with which the column is packed is preferably about 10W1,000mol per mol of the photopolymerization initiator passed in the form of a solution, though it varies with the particle diameter of the cyclodextrin used, etc.

Examples of the solutions which can dissolve only the photopolymerization initiator include ethyl ether and chloroform. Examples of the solvents which can dissolve only cyclodextrin include water and glycerin.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent the attack of radicals, and to obtain optical bleaching resistance by inserting a dithiolate complex group pigment among bases in deoxyribonucleic acid DNA and forming a dithiolate complex group pigment/DNA complex. CONSTITUTION:A dithiolate complex/deoxyribonucleic acid complex, in which a dithiolate complex group pigment is inserted among base pairs in deoxyribonucleic acid, or a dithiolate complex group pigment/caffeine complex having sandwich structure in which the dithiolate group pigment is held among caffiene of two molecules is used. Consequently, the attack of radicals can be prevented. The attack of radicals will be obviated for the reason that the dithiolate complex group pigment 2 is probably inserted between base pairs 3 (A represents adenine, C cytosine, G guanine, T thymine and 1 a nucleic acid phosphoric acid group) arranged in parallel and a radical generating agent cannot easily approach to the dithiolate complex group pigment 2 in the dithiolate complex group pigment/DNA complex.

CONSTITUTION:A meltable layer 6 melted under heating, a conductive layer 2 showing the compatibility with the meltable layer and a color forming layer 1 containing a solid electrolyte and a redox dye are provided to a support. When pulse voltage is applied between a recording needle 4 and a return electrode 5, a current flows in the route of color forming layer 1 conductive layer 2 return electrode 5 and the dye in the color forming layer 1 develops a color by electrolytic oxidation or reduction. After the completion of recording, the whole of recording paper is heated to melt and mix the conductive layer 2 and the meltable layer 6 having compatibility to each other. The meltable layer 6 is formed so as to be sufficiently thick as compared with the conductive layer 2 and the conductive substance in the conductive layer 2 is diluted by mixing and the current sufficient for inducing the electrolysis of the color forming layer 1 does not flow any longer.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent a dye from being transferred to a recording medium at room temperature and enhance resolution and sensitivity, by providing a water-soluble resin material with a sealing film for preventing a water-soluble resin material from leaking on the side faced to a thermal head. CONSTITUTION:The water-soluble resin material 7 obtained by dispersing a dye-containing liposome 6 in a water-soluble resin is provided with the sealing film 2 for preventing the material 7 from leaking on the side faced to a thermal head. The dye is isolated by the liposome 6 at room temperature, but when the sheet is heated from above the sealing film 1, the liposome 6 is melted, and a portion of the dye 3 is melted or sublimed to exude onto a transfer-type thermal recording medium, thereby recording. The liposome has a bimolecular-film consruction formed by association of a long- chain dialkyldimethylammonium salt and a phase transition temperature of Tc, and maintains the bimolecular-film costruction at temperatues not higher than Tc. At temperatures not lower than Tc. a phase transition occurs to make the liposome fluidic, so that a hydrophobic substance taken therein is released. The sealing film is a polymer film, a condenser paper or the like. Accordingly, a sheet free of transfer of a dye to a recording medium at room temperature and having excellent resolution and sensitivity can be obtained.
