And the jointing pieces 3 of the jointing blocks 1a, 1b are mutually engaged and a bolt is inserted into a pierced hole to fasten the column with the beam.     • PURPOSE:To exhibit energy absorbing capacity possessed by lead by a method wherein a tensile force is prevented from being exerted on the lead and the lead is burdened with a shearing stress. CONSTITUTION:A lead damper comprises block-form lead 1, a tubular constraining tube 2 with which a peripheral surface 11 of the lead 1 is surrounded throughout the whole area thereof, and two mutually rotatable fixed plates 31 and 32 which nip the lead 1 from end faces 12 and 12 and are fixed to the respective end faces 12 and 12 and one of which is formed integrally with the constraining tube 2 and the other of which is insulated from the constraining tube 2. Since the volume change of the lead 1 is constrained from a triaxial direction by means of the constraining tube 2 and the two fixed plates 31 and 32, the lead damper is stable to the occurrence of a crack. The fixed members 31 and 32 are connected to relatively rotational displacing members during vibration of a structure, and through relative rotational deformation of the fixed plates 31 and 32, twist moment is exerted on the lead 1. Burdening with a shearing force causes absorption of vibration energy of the structure through energy absorption capacity thereof.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent a plate body from being deformed when it is jointed to a steel pipe column, by providing the plate body with a tap screw hole, to project joint pieces to be pectinated on the side of the plate body, and by forming a loose slot to be penetrated with a bolt in the direction orthogonal to the joint pieces. CONSTITUTION:A plate body 7 to be brought in contact with the internal side surface of a steel pipe column 1 is provided with a tap screw hole 11. The hole is provided with a joint surface to the steel pipe column 1 of the plate body 7, and on a surface on the counter side, joint pieces 8 are integrally projected to be pectinated at small intervals. After that, a loose slot 9 to be penetrated with a bolt 10 in the vertical direction orthogonal to the joint pieces 8 is formed, and a jointing metal fittings 6 is composed. Then, the jointing metal fittings 6 is set on the internal side surface of the steel pipe column 1, and a T-type jointing metal fittings 3 is brought in contact with the outer peripheral surface of the steel pipe column 1 and is fastened with a high tensile bolt 14. Besides, the joint pieces 8 of the adjacent jointing metal fittings 6 are alternately fitted on each other to be orthogonal, and the bolts 10 are inserted to be fastened, through the loose slots 9.
