摘要： An injection molded preform for making a stretch blow molded container having an overall stretch ratio of from about 12 to about 16, wherein the overall stretch ratio is a product of a hoop stretch ratio and an axial stretch ratio, wherein the hoop stretch ratio is from about 5.6 to about 6.5, wherein the axial stretch ratio is from about 2.4 to about 2.7, and wherein the preform comprises a CG PET Copolymer having a free blow volume of from about 650 to about 800 ml measured at 100° C. and 90 psi using a 25 gram weight preform designed for a 500 ml container with a maximum diameter of 65 mm and a height of 200 mm from below the container finish and having a hoop stretch ratio of 5.5 and an axial stretch ratio of 2.6. This invention also relates to a method of making such preforms and stretch blow molded containers and methods of making the same.

摘要： The present invention relates to an apparatus and process for injection molding polymer articles that reduces deposition of additives on the apparatus. Specifically, pressurizing of the mold cavity with a pressurized gas reduces the deposition of low molecular weight additives on the apparatus. Embodiments of the invention also include an apparatus for injection molding polymer articles comprising at least one pressurized gas inlet for introducing a pressurized gas into the mold cavity.

摘要： Methods and apparatuses for generating, by a computing device configured to interpret a handwritten expression, a symbol graph to represent strokes associated with the handwritten expression, are described herein. The symbol graph may include nodes, each node corresponding to a combination of a stroke and a candidate symbol for that stroke. The computing device may also generate a segment graph based on the symbol graph by combining nodes associated with a same stroke if strokes of their preceding nodes are the same. Also the computing device may perform a structure analysis on at least a subset of segment sequences represented by the segment graph to determine hypotheses for the handwritten expression. In other embodiments, rather than generate a segment graph, the computing device may determine segment sequences by selecting a number of symbol sequences from the symbol graph and combining symbol sequences having the same segmentation.

摘要： The coated multilayer structure comprising a polymeric base layer, an inorganic oxide gas barrier layer on a surface of the polymeric base layer, and a top coat on the inorganic oxide gas barrier layer, the top coat comprising a soluble compound capable of reducing the permeability of the multilayer structure to gas or vapor. A method for enhancing the gas or vapor barrier properties of a multilayer polymeric/inorganic oxide structure is also disclosed. According to one embodiment, SiOx coated polyethylene terephthalate containers are coated with a gas or vapor barrier enhancing top coat.
