摘要： Apparatus and methods for treating tissue at or near a sphincter provide for transluminal introduction of an energy delivery device. The device includes a tissue compression member to compress target tissue at or near the sphincter. A radiofrequency energy source is coupleable to the delivery device to deliver radiofrequency energy to the target tissue. Energy is delivered to heat the tissue to a desired temperature. The desired temperature is selected to induce an injury-healing response or to inducing shrinkage of collagen fibers in the target tissue to thereby reduce laxity in the target tissue.

摘要： An RF treatment apparatus includes a catheter with a catheter lumen. A removable needle electrode is positioned in the catheter lumen in a fixed relationship to the catheter. The needle electrode includes a needle lumen and a needle electrode distal end. A removable introducer is slidably positioned in the needle lumen. The introducer includes an introducer distal end. A first sensor is positioned on a surface of the needle electrode or the insulator. An RF power source is coupled to the needle electrode and a return electrode. An insulator sleeve is slidably positioned around the electrode and includes a second sensor. Resources are associated with the electrodes, sensors as well as the RF power source for maintaining a selected power at the electrode independent of changes in current or voltage.

摘要： The present invention is directed to utilizing monitoring devices (200) for determining the effectiveness of various locations, such as media display locations (150) for an intended purpose (media display exposure). The monitoring devices (200) are distributed to a number of study respondents. The monitoring devices (200) track the movements of the respondents. While various technologies may be used to track the movements of the respondents, at least some of the location tracking of the monitoring device (200) utilize a satellite (105) location system such as the global positioning system (“GPS”). These movements of the respondent and monitoring device (200) at some point coincide with exposure to a number of media displays (150). Geo data (movement data) collected by the monitoring devices, is downloaded to a download server (300), for determining which media displays (150) the respondent was exposed to. The exposure determinations are made by a post-processing server (400).

摘要： A process for use by a non-professional to record a greeting or message for a voice mail system. A CD is placed in a CD player, or an Internet website is accessed. Recorded on the CD or the website are multiple segment tracks with each segment containing background music or a sound effect. At the beginning of each segment is a distinctive, audible note which is used to synchronize the background music or sound effect with the beginning of a recording. A menu for the voice mail system for recording messages is accessed to find a prompt for starting a recording. The CD player or website is enabled to play the track while a user records a greeting or message. The background music or sound effects are recorded together with the speaker's voice so both are simultaneously recorded in the voice mail system. The background music or sound effect is now heard whenever the greeting or message is replayed.
