    • The present invention relates to a portable sprayer for applying a diluted product to a surface to be treated. The sprayer includes a housing including an inlet for supplying pressurized water to the sprayer, a first water only outlet, and a second diluted product only outlet. A mixing chamber is located within the housing. The mixing chamber is dimensioned to securely hold the product and is in fluid communication with the second outlet. A first flow passage extends through the housing. The first flow passage is in selective fluid communication with the inlet and the first outlet. A second flow passage extends through the housing. The second flow passage is in selective fluid communication with the first flow passage and the mixing chamber. A wall of the second flow passage is configured to direct the pressurized water flowing through the second flow passage into the mixing chamber to evenly dissolve the product and provide a generally consistent product to water ratio.

    • A rollable sports ballast base for supporting a sports apparatus support member comprising a base member which has a first edge and a second edge, a top surface and a bottom surface. The bottom surface is adapted to contact a support surface such as a driveway or other playing surface. There is at least one wheel assembly for contacting the support surface. One of the wheel assemblies is retractable from a lowered position to a raised position such that when in the raised position, the bottom surface of the base member substantially contacts the support surface. In the lowered position, both wheel assemblies contact the support surface thereby separating or elevating the base member from the support surface. In another embodiment, the invention consists of a similar rollable sports base for supporting a sports apparatus support member wherein one wheel assembly is retractable and comprises a pivoting connector coupled to the base member and a wheel bracket coupled to the pivoting connector. The wheel bracket is adapted to receive an axle and at least one wheel, and is further provided with a handle extending outwardly from the wheel bracket. The handle is used to pivotally rotate the wheel assembly about a transverse axis such that when the handle is rotated away from the base member, the wheel contacts the support surface and the bottom surface of the base member is separated or elevated from the support surface.

    • An image segmentation method includes generating a hierarchy of regions by unsupervised segmentation of an input image. Each region is described with a respective region feature vector representative of the region. Hierarchical structures are identified, each including a parent region and its respective child regions in the hierarchy. Each hierarchical structure is described with a respective hierarchical feature vector that is based on the region feature vectors of the respective parent and child regions. The hierarchical structures are classified according to a set of predefined classes with a hierarchical classifier component that is trained with hierarchical feature vectors of hierarchical structures of training images. The training images have semantic regions labeled according to the set of predefined classes. The input image is segmented into a plurality of semantic regions based on the classification of the hierarchical structures and optionally also on classification of the individual regions.
