摘要： This invention relates to a method to select, in an input image, pixels that can be watermarked by replacing their colour by a metameric colour. It comprises the following steps: correct the input image by applying a predetermined gamma law, convert the input image into a ‘metameric’ image in which the colours of the input image pixels are replaced by metameric colours, simulate the capture of the input image and of the metameric image by a camcorder in order to generate respectively a captured input image and a captured metameric image, determine, in a colour space and for each pixel of the input image, the distance between the colour of said pixel in the captured input image and in the captured metameric image, and select the pixels of the input image for which the distance is greater than a threshold. The invention also concerns a watermarking method based on metamerism.

The transformed pixels are then selected according to the used LUT, format converted and output. 摘要： With the new plasma display panel technology new kinds of artefacts can occur in video pictures. These artefacts are commonly described as “dynamic false contour effect”, since they correspond to disturbances of gray levels and colors in the form of an apparition of colored edges in the picture when the observation point on the PDP screen moves. According to the invention, such an artefact is compensated by analyzing the pictures, and determining the pixels which need to be corrected. The digital sub-field code words of these pixels are replaced by corrected sub-field code words. Thereby, the correction sub-fields (C1, C2, C3) which are inserted in or omitted from the digital code word are selected under consideration of its position within the frame period for optimal results.

The valve comprises elements arranged in rows and columns, each of the elements comprising a liquid crystal controlled by drive means so as to display video information relating to at least one image. Accordingly, capacitors and transistors of the drive means are shared in common between several elements of the valve. According to the invention, the frequency of the carrier is changed at least once throughout the displaying of the sequence pictures or the movie, to defeat all camcorders standards (PAL/NTSC) and shutter configurations.
