摘要： A method for allowing remote control of the usage of a networked wireless device including incoming communications, outgoing communications, and application launching. Controlling entities, such as parent cellular telephones or web sites, are provided with the ability to select a list of approved anytime incoming communications, or approved incoming and outgoing communications based on time and day. Incoming communications include text messaging and telephone calls. Further, the controlling entity is provided with the ability to reroute to the controlling entity any usage of the wireless device such as incoming communications, outgoing communications, and application launching. Access to usage logs of the wireless device is provided to the controlling entity.

A patron can register with the entertainment environment utilizing a wireless device owned by the patron. An electronic entry ticket for the attraction is allocated to the patron through the wireless device, the electronic entry ticket includes a time and a patron identifier in short messaging service format. The electronic entry ticket can also be provided in multimedia messaging service format. The patron can be provided with promotional information through the wireless device, wherein the promotional information can be related to the attraction. Finally, the patron can redeem the entry ticket at the time provided for the allocated entry ticket and allow the patron to enter the attraction utilizing the patron identifier.

A video disc in accordance with the present invention includes a video that is specially encoded with commands or triggers that correspond with the display of a product for advertisement or sale. The video disc may for example be a DVD, and the video may be a movie. The playback device is configured to recognize these triggers and indicate to the user that a product may be available for purchase. When a product is displayed in the video, an indicator appears on the screen which indicates to the user that this product is available for purchase.

摘要： An animated image is dynamically generated for insertion into a video stream within a media playback device. The media playback device receives an animated image and executable. The media playback device receives meta-data associated with an animated image. The executable is executed in essentially real-time. The animated image is generated. In one instance, the animated image is a sprite. In another instance, a composite seamless integrated image of the animated image and the video stream is created. The meta-data and the executable persistently used will be stored in a memory device for future use. In another aspect, meta-data and executable associated with the video stream are streamed into the media playback device.
