    • A sensing method is used for a capacitive sensing device, wherein the capacitive sensing device has a plurality of capacitive sensing components, each of which is charged or discharged by a charging component respectively. The sensing method comprises the steps of: a first sampling step of sampling at least one of charging or discharging time of a capacitive sensing component of the plurality of capacitive sensing components to determine a first sample time for the component sampled, wherein the component sampled and at least one another component of the plurality of capacitive sensing components are charged or discharged simultaneously during the first sampling step; a first comparing step of comparing the first sample time for the component sampled with a reference time; and an outputting step of outputting a trigger signal in the event that the first sample time exceeds the reference time.

    • A method for organizing individual collections of images or videos captured for the same event by different cameras into a master collection, wherein each individual collection forms a media stream in chronological order. A processor for extracting image features for each image or video of the media stream of each collection; constructing a graph based on the extracted features to link the images or videos from the two media streams; finding on the graph at least a pair of images or videos, each from one of the two media streams, that corresponds to correlated captured content; aligning the remaining images or videos in response to the aligned pair so that the all images or videos from the two media streams are aligned over a common timeline; and producing a master stream in chronological order of the event over a common timeline by merging the aligned individual.

    • A disk drive is disclosed operable to seek a head from a first radial location over a disk to a second radial location over the disk. A reference signal is initialized, a feed-forward control signal is initialized, and a seek is initiated. During the seek operation, a position error signal (PES) is generated and saved, wherein the PES represents a position error of the head relative to the reference signal. The PES is filtered with a compensation filter to generate a feed-back control signal. The feed-back control signal is combined with the feed-forward control signal to generate a VCM control signal. When the seek is done, the saved PES is processed using an iterative learning control (ILC) algorithm to adjust at least one of the reference signal and the feed-forward control signal.

    • A disk drive is disclosed comprising a disk having a plurality of tracks, wherein each track comprises a plurality of data sectors and a plurality of servo sectors. The disk drive further comprises a head actuated over the disk, the head comprising a read element radially offset from a write element by a reader/writer offset. In order to rewrite a marginal servo sector detected in a target track, control circuitry within the disk drive relocates user data recorded in a first data sector of a near adjacent track to a staging memory. Servo data is written over the first data sector, and the read element is used to read the servo data written over the first data sector to actuate the head to rewrite the marginal servo sector of the target track. The user data stored in the staging memory is then rewritten to the first data sector.
