SOLUTION: The copper-base alloy has shape memory characteristics and superelasticity and has recrystallized structure where bainitic phase (γ) is precipitated in at least either of austenitic (β) phase and grain boundary. A wire of the copper-base alloy has >=100 Mpa yield stress even in the bamboo structure where the ratio of the average grain size (C) to the diameter (S) of the wire, (C/S), becomes >=1.0.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a free cutting Ni based heat resistant alloy which has satisfactory high temperature strength and corrosion resistance, and has excellent machinability. SOLUTION: This Ni based heat resistant alloy contains Ni as the main component, and contains, by mass, 0.01 to 0.3% C and 14 to 35% Cr. The alloy contains one or more kinds selected from Ti, Zr and Hf by 0.1 to 6% in total, and contains 0.015 to 0.5% S. By these additional elements, a free cutting impartation compound phase containing any of Ti, Zr and Hf as the main component of metallic element components, and, as bonding components with the metallic element components, essentially consisting of C, and containing either S or Se is dispersedly formed into the structure. Further, provided that the content of Ti is defined as WTi (mass%), the content of Zr as WZr (mass%), the content of Hf as WHf (mass%), the content of C as WC (mass%), and the content of S as WS (mass%), WTi+0.53WZr+0.27WHf>2WC+0.75WS, and WC>0.37WS are satisfied. In this way, free S present in the alloy structure is suppressed, and its machinability can be improved while preventing deterioration in hot workability.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set rigidity and elasticity at an optional site by a method wherein a medical stent which can be embedded in a celom and is used for a medical treatment of a constricted area, is formed of a Cu-Al-Mn based shape memory alloy of which the formulation ratio is specified, and the property of a gradient function wherein the characteristics of the alloy gradually change, is used. SOLUTION: This stent which dilates to a configuration before a contraction by the release of a stress, and is fixed in a blood vessel or a body cavity, is formed of a copper-based alloy having a composition comprising 5-20 wt.% of Mn, 3-10 wt.% of Al, residual Cu and inevitable impurities. For the copper- based alloy, the total of 0.001-10 wt.% of one kind, or two kinds or more which are selected from Ni, Co, Fe, Ti, V, Cr, Si, Nb, Mo, Sn, Ag, W, Mg, B and a misch metal or the like may be further contained. Also, for the copper-based alloy, one having a shape memory property and a superelasticity is used by molding it by a hot working and/or a cold working, rapidly cooling after holding it is a temperature of 500 deg.C or higher, and applying an aging treatment at a temperature of 200 deg.C or lower.

Its alloy structure is lamellar in a working direction. This fine wire is produced by the method consisting in dissolving and casting such Cu alloy, then solidifying the alloy at =2 times of cold working and heat treatment in combination to obtain the dense lamellar structure elongated in the working direction. The reduction of area in one time of the cold working is specified to >=50% and the heat treatment which follows the cold working is executed for 20 seconds to 6 hours at 400 to 850 deg.C.
