摘要： An electric precipitator includes a charge unit disposed at an upstream part and a dust collection unit disposed at a downstream part, the charge unit includes charge electrodes and a discharge wire disposed between two neighboring charge electrodes and separated from the charge electrodes, the dust collection unit includes high voltage electrodes, front ends of which are opposite to the charge unit, and low voltage electrodes, front ends of which are opposite to the charge unit and which alternate with high voltage electrodes, and the front ends of high voltage electrodes protrude toward the charge unit as compared to the front ends of low voltage electrodes, thereby guiding electrons to the discharge electrodes due to an electric field formed between the front ends of the high voltage electrodes and the discharge electrodes and thus reducing current leakage through the low voltage electrodes.

The outdoor unit according to the present invention comprises a housing which has an air inlet and an air outlet, a ventilation fan rotatably mounted in the housing, and a fan guard connected to the housing to cover the air outlet. Here, the fan guard comprises a plurality of closed ribs arranged sequentially and concentrically between a center and an outline thereof, and a plurality of radial ribs arranged in radial directions to interconnect the plurality of closed ribs, in such a manner that some of the closed ribs, which are disposed at intermediate positions near tips of the ventilation fan, are at a further distance from the ventilation fan than the other closed ribs, which are disposed near the center and the outline. Accordingly, since the fan guard is convexly raised at a position corresponding to the tips of the ventilation fan, thereby guaranteeing a predetermined space between the fan guard and the tips where the airflow is fastest, the flow resistance and the flow-induced noise can be reduced.

摘要： A variable capacity rotary compressor is designed to prevent eccentric bushes from slipping during a compression operation, and thereby prevent noise from being generated and increase durability. The variable capacity rotary compressor includes a housing to define first and second compression chambers having different capacities therein. First and second eccentric cams are mounted to a rotating shaft to be placed in the first and second compression chambers, respectively. First and second eccentric bushes are rotatably fitted over the first and second eccentric cams, respectively. First and second rollers are rotatably fitted over the first and second eccentric bushes, respectively. First and second vanes partition the first and second compression chambers, respectively. A locking unit functions to make one of the first and second eccentric bushes be eccentric from the rotating shaft while making a remaining one of the first and second eccentric bushes be released from eccentricity from the rotating shaft, according to a rotating direction of the rotating shaft. A restraining unit is outwardly projected from the rotating shaft by a centrifugal force when the rotating shaft is rotated, thus restraining the first and second eccentric bushes.
