In this image forming device, the winding preventing means comes into contact with the transfer material carrying means 10 on the upstream side of the transfer point, and is composed of a pressing guide 13 arranged in the direction of the width of the transfer material carrying means 10 by which transfer materials 9 of all sizes are carried.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce markedly a laser light power required for simultaneous recording and fixation and contrive reductions in size and cost of a recorder by raising the temperature of a toner to a predetermined temperature by a preheater, prior to exposure to an exposure pattern by a laser light or the like. CONSTITUTION:An electrifier is disposed over a paper 1, and electric charges are uniformly distributed on the paper 1. A toner 4a electrified in the opposite polarity by a magnetic brush of a developing device 2 is brought into contact with the lower side of the paper, whereby the toner is attracted by the charges provided by the electrifier, and is adhered uniformly to the entire surface of the lower side of the paper. The toner 4a is preheated to 100 deg.C by heated rollers 6a, 6b for preheating. When an exposure pattern according to an image signal is projected on the toner layer by 7, the toner layer is instantaneously heated to 120 deg.C, and the toner is melted. Of the toner layer, an image pattern portion according to the image signal is fixed onto the paper as a toner image 4b. Then, the charges on the paper is removed by an electrifier 9 for static elimination, upon which the unfixed toner 4c loses an attracting force, and is separated from the paper.

Scanning electrode power supply circuits 33, 36 for supplying output potential levels u1 to u4 , v1 to v4 are respectively connected to both the driving circuits 33, 36 and control signals 41, 42 are respectively used for switching at least one of four potential levels to the earth potential. When the control signals 41, 42 are sent in a non- printing period, the earth potential is respectively outputted from the circuits 34, 35, all electrodes on an optical switch array 21 are earthed to prevent the deterioration of the LC elements.

    • PURPOSE:To satisfy both of a copying function and printing function with one light source and to reduce the size of an information composing recorder by making common use of a line light source such as fluorescent lamp or halogen lamp used for a copying machine as a light source for an optical printer. CONSTITUTION:An optical shutter 10 is opened and an optical switch array 5 is closed to project the light 7 from an aperture 3 of the line light source 1 through a lens 11 on an original 14 at the time of operating this information composing recorder as the copying function. An original platen 10 is moved at this time in synchronization with the rotation of a photosensitive drum 9 and a latent image is formed by a 'Selfoc lens(R)' 6 on the drum 9. The shutter 10 is closed to project the light of the light source 1 through an aperture 2 and a rod lens 4 on the switch array 5 at the time of operating the device as the optical printer. The respective optical switches of the switch array 5 are switched in accordance with electrical information signals to form the light patterns corresponding to said signals to form the latent image on the drum 9 by the lens 6.

    • PURPOSE:To make a flicker inconspicuons by applying a high-speed optional switch using a ferroelectric liquid crystal to stereoscopic spectacles and switching two sets of left/right television camera signals within one field time to change the left/right picture at each 1/60sec substantially. CONSTITUTION:Signals from right/left television cameras 1 are switched by a left/right signal switch 3 by using a signal from a signal generator 2 switching the right/left pictures and sent to a monitor television set 4. The picture from the monitor television set is seen in a duplicated state while the left/right camera pictures are overlapped by unaided eyes, but by using spectacles 5 provided with an optical switch switched by using a signal from the generator 2 independently of left/right directions, the picture from the left/right cameras are viewed respectively by left/right eyes and the picture is recognized by a stereoscopic picture. By using an element using a ferroelectric liquid crystal as the optical switch, high-speed operation is attained and the titled system is constituted at a comparatively low cost.
