    • A motor drive unit is provided with a bridge circuit including series connected first and second MOS transistors, series connected third and fourth MOS transistors, a DC motor connected between a junction of the first and second MOS transistors and a junction of the third and fourth MOS transistors, a power supply line connected to the first and third MOS transistors and a ground line connected to the second and fourth MOS transistors. The state of the DC motor is controlled by on/off controlling the MOS transistors of the bridge circuit. The MOS transistors are controlled such that the motor is continuously short-circuited when a power is supplied to the motor drive unit and the motor is not driven.

    • There is provided an automatic exposure control apparatus of a camera, comprising: a winding-up device to wind up a film after completion of the photographing; an output device to output an exposure start signal with respect to completion of the winding-up operation of the film; an exposure determining device to determine an exposure control value in response to the exposure start signal; and an exposure control unit to execute the exposure control of the camera on the basis of the exposure control value determined, wherein the exposure control unit previously stores at least one or more first exposure control value before the first photographing and, when the second photographing is executed before a second exposure control value is determined in response to the first exposure start signal which is output with respect to the first winding-up operation after the first winding-up operation was completed, the exposure control unit executes the exposure control by the first exposure control value.

    • An automatic focus detecting apparatus of a camera comprises a focus detecting unit for receiving the light from an object to be photographed and producing a focus detection output, a driving circuit responsive to the focus detection output to effect at least one of the driving of a phototaking lens and focus condition display, an object brightness detecting unit for producing a brightness detection output corresponding to the brightness of the object, means for producing a time count starting signal, a timer circuit adapted to start time count in response to the time count starting signal and produce a blocking signal in response to the brightness detection output for a short time if the brightness is high or for a long time if the brightness is low, and a blocking circuit for preventing the driving circuit from responding to the focus detection output during the time the blocking signal is produced.
