    • A liquid container includes a negative pressure generating member containing chamber which contains therein a negative pressure generating member formed of a fiber material and provided with a liquid supplying portion and an atmosphere communication portion.     • The invention is to connect a liquid container, having a fluid connecting portion and an information memory medium, to the main body of a recording apparatus without generating stress in both connecting portions.     • A container of the present invention for use of ink jet recording liquid is arranged to store recording liquid to be supplied to an ink jet recording head.
