摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To always conduct normal communication by compensating for the failures of communication while plural number of devices are connected to each other. SOLUTION: A display device 3 is connected to a PC1 and a PC2 employing conventional video signal lines and also connected with duplex communication lines, respectively. If the video signals outputted by the PC1 are selected and displayed on the device 3, the display conditions of the device 3 such as various adjustments related to the display size, the display position and the contrast, for example, are controlled from the PC1 side through a C1. Moreover, specific information of the device 3 such as the control condition and identification information are transmitted to the PC1 side. In order to switch the input to the display 3 from the PC1 to the PC2, the display 3 newly makes a communication condition initializing request or a reset request against the PC2 so as to conduct communication.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain video display on a same screen by video signals of a plurality of different systems while completely avoiding deterioration in the resolution in the vertical direction. SOLUTION: An interlace video signal from input terminals 11, 12 is given to a double speed conversion circuit 17, where the line period is compressed at a multiple of 1/2 and the line of the same video contents is repeated twice each and the video signal converted in this way is fed to cathode ray tubes 39-41, on which video images are displayed. In this case, the scanning of the line of the same video contents is repeated twice in each field, and convergence correction is made so that the two lines of the same information contents are overlapped by a convergence correction signal from amplifiers 36-38 to attain interlace scanning and a video image with high image quality is obtained. In the case of making video display by noninterlace video signals from a PC processing circuit 6, noninterlace scanning is conducted by the cathode ray tubes 39-41 and the video image is displayed with fidelity.

摘要： PURPOSE: To assure display quality by preventing the deterioration of liquid crystals due to DC impression by providing the surface of a perpendicular signal function part facing a counter common electrode with an electric field shielding electrode via an insulating film. CONSTITUTION: The perpendicular scanning function part 43 is formed as part of driving circuits on one substrate constituting the liquid crystal display device. The electric field shielding electrode 56 is formed via the insulating film 49 on the perpendicular scanning function part 43 to shield the DC electric field generated from the perpendicular scanning function part 43, by which the DC electric field between the electric field shielding electrode 56 and the counter common electrode 54 is eliminated. The DC electric field is consequently not impressed on liquid crystals 51 held between the electric field shielding electrode 56 and the counter canon electrode 54 and, therefore, the deterioration of the liquid crystals 51 is prevented, the display quality is assured and the reliability is assured. More particularly, the effect of suppressing the DC electric field by this electric field shielding electrode 56 is high if a wiring electrode having the particularly large DC potential difference to the counter common electrode 5 exists in the wiring electrodes in the perpendicular scanning function part 43.

摘要： PURPOSE:To maintain good picture quality by shifting a phase of a sampling clock by the specific angle with respect to a phase of a sampling clock which is used for primary color signals of B and R inputted. CONSTITUTION:The phase shift circuit 2 consists of an inverter, and inverts polarization of a sampling clock from the control circuit 1, then supplied it to the A/D converter for G. When it is supposed that duty ratio of the sampling clock from the control circuit 1 is approximately 50%, a phase of the sampling clock which is supplied to A/D converter for G via the inverter is shifted by 180 degrees with respect to a phase of the sampling clock supplied to the A/D converter for B and the A/D converter for R directly from the control circuit 1, by action of the inverter. Therefore, smooth inclined line display can be realized, and better picture quality can be maintained than that of non-phase shifting.
