    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To well cool an entire of a superconductive wiring of a perpetual current switch by heat conduction by connecting a spool by a single material of a perpetual current switch to a cooling source. SOLUTION: A perpetual current switch 6 is constituted of a spool 1, a superconductive wire 2, an inner insulation layer 3, a heater wire 4 and an outer insulation layer 5. The spool 1 is fixed in contact with an extremely low temperature cooling stage 7 which is cooled by a freezer in an outside to enable heat conduction and is fixed by a metal part 8. The perpetual current switch 6 is fixed in contact with the extremely low temperature cooling stage 7 formed of a metallic member of good heat conductivity to enable heat conduction and the extremely low temperature cooling stage 7 is connected to an extremely low temperature cooling head of a compact freezer and is cooled down to a temperature in the neighborhood of 4K. Therefore, since a superconductive wiring part is cooled well by improving heat conduction characteristic of a spool and a wiring is subjected to uniform temperature rise and cooling, OFF operation is possible by little heat input to a heater, thus reducing cooling load of a freezer.

    • PURPOSE:To make it possible to process into a small wire and to obtain an excellent superconductive property by installing an Sn rod with a coverage inside an Nb tube, accomodating it in a Cu tube with the outside formed in a regular hexagon to make a composite, and after accomodating plural composites in a Cu tube contacting them side by side, applying a section reduction process and a heat treatment. CONSTITUTION:A composite 1 is composed by covering around an Sn rod 20 of a circular section with a cylindrical oxygenless copper tube 3 and an Nb tube 4, and installing those members in an oxygenless copper tube 5 with the outer diameter of a regular hexagon and with the inner diameter of a semicircular hollow. Then, numerous composites 1 are filled densely in an oxygenless copper tube 5 contacting side by side. After manufacturing a wire material by applying a static hydraulic extrusion process, a swaging process, and a cold wiredrawing process to the resultant composition obtained in such a way, a heat treatment producing Nb3Sn is applied to manufacture a multicore superconductive wire. As a result, since an abnormal deformation, or an uneven deformation, in the manufacturing process can be prevented, no breaking of the Nb tube is generated even though it is made in a small wire, and the superconductive property can be improved accordingly.
