摘要： Embodiments of a Machine Type Communication User Equipment (MTC UE), Next Generation Node-B (gNB) and methods of communication are generally described herein. The MTC UE may determine a system timing based on reception of a primary synchronization signal (PSS) and a secondary synchronization signal (SSS). The MTC UE may receive, from the gNB, radio resource control (RRC) signaling that indicates one or more parameters of a configurable resynchronization signal (RSS). The RSS may be for resynchronization, by the MTC UE, after the MTC UE awakens from a power save mode. The parameters of the RSS in the RRC signaling may depend on a target coverage of the MTC UE. The MTC UE may determine an updated system timing based on reception of the RSS.

Designs for timing of HARQ feedback in response to PDSCH and PUSCH transmissions (or simply, PDSCH and PUSCH) include both HARQ feedback from a UE, and HARQ feedback from an eNB. The PUSCH HARQ timeline embodiments also include both self-scheduling and cross-carrier scheduling scenarios for PUSCH transmissions. In addition, designs for the cross-carrier scheduling scenarios contemplate an FDD scheduling cell or a TDD scheduling cell.

摘要： Systems and methods for interlace PUCCH transmission in 5G networks are described. The gNB sends an RRC message to a UE. The RRC message provides one or more PUCCH interlace allocations within a BW. Each PUCCH interlace allocation has a PUCCH format for each PUCCH interlace. Each PUCCH format contains a different PUCCH interlace index. The UE sends a PUCCH interlace in the BWP based on the PUCCH interlace allocation. A PUCCH in the allocated PUCCH interlace has a cyclic shift that is dependent on a resource block number in the allocated PUCCH interlace within the BWP.

The UE may receive a subframe from an enhanced NodeB (eNB). The subframe may contain a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) formed in accordance with a Downlink Control information (DCI) format. The DCI format may comprise a Downlink Assignment Index (DAI) for Time Division Duplexed (TDD) and Frequency Division Duplexed (FDD) operation. The UE may determine, dependent on the DAI, a number and ordering of Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request-Acknowledgment (HARQ-ACK) bits to be transmitted on a Physical Uplink Shared Channel (PUSCH) and subsequently transmit the HARQ-ACK bits.

In some cases, if the RNTI that scrambles the PDCCH is a modulation coding scheme (MCS) cell RNTI (MCS-C-RNTI), cell RNTI (C-RNTI), or a configured scheduling RNTI (CS-RNTI), the UE may determine that: one or more PT-RSs are present in the PDSCH, a time density parameter of the PT-RSs is equal to one, and a frequency density of the PT-RSs is equal to two.
