The head portion includes a tip portion that includes a front throat region, an opening, and a needle receiving portion. The front throat region includes a front edge and a lateral edge. The opening is defined by the lateral edge of the front throat region. The needle moves in and out of the device through the opening in a direction along the front edge of the front throat region. The needle receiving portion can be configured to capture the needle.
