摘要： A multi-leg stand mainly includes a vertical main tube and a tripod structure connected to a lower end of the main tube. The tripod structure includes an inner tube around which a locking element and three unions are sequentially mounted from top to bottom. Three legs are separately connected at inner ends to the three unions. When the locking element engages with the first union at a first locking position, the three legs are folded to locate at the same side of the main tube, and when the locking element engages with the first union at a second locking position, the three legs are equally angularly spaced and radially extended. And, when the locking element is in a releasing position on the inner tube, the three unions may be freely turned in one direction with only one hand to quickly and accurately move into the folded or the spaced position.

摘要： An electrochemical cell containing a cathode comprising silver vanadium oxide and an anode comprising lithium is disclosed that includes an improved electrolyte composition having the solvents propylene carbonate and 1,2-dimethoxyethane, and an additional third solvent that reduces the solubility of the composition of the silver vanadium cathode material. Preferably, the third solvent is a dialkyl carbonate such as dimethyl carbonate, diethyl carbonate or ethylmethyl carbonate. The improved electrolyte composition reduces the build up of resistance in the cell during cell discharge, and may affect the cell's performance in implantable cardiac defibrillator applications. The cell of the present invention may include a hybrid cathode containing a mixture of silver vanadium oxide and carbon monofluoride (CF.sub.x).

The ceramic material is deposited to cover the boron group element. The amorphous substrate and materials deposited thereon are heated in the presence of a gas including a nitrogen group element to grow a single crystal semiconductor structure comprising the boron group element and the nitrogen group element.

摘要： Apparatus, systems, and methods are provided for treating obstructive sleep apnea. A unitary valve assembly removably located inside the exterior profile of a nasal pillow mask uses positive airway pressure from a low-flow hose to automatically create an on-demand therapeutic air splint in the pharynx. During inspiration the mask's valving system allows room air to be inspired. During exhalation another valve governs therapeutic backpressure equal to the prescribed pressure setting of the CPAP blower machine. The mask may be worn when the CPAP blower machine is off, and systems are provided for turning the CPAP blower machine on only when needed.
