摘要： A capacitor for outputting a reference signal is formed by using a part of an envelope. A reference signal according to an anode voltage is output from the capacitor for outputting a reference signal. An unnecessary signal component included in an index-detection signal which is output via the capacitor for outputting an index signal is eliminated on the basis of the reference signal. With the configuration, only the required index-information signal is extracted from the index detection signal with high accuracy at a high SN ratio.

摘要： An image display correcting apparatus of the invention comprises, broadly, a correction data forming apparatus and an image display apparatus. Correction data for correcting a display state of an image is formed by the correction data forming apparatus on the basis of an image as a reference displayed on the screen of a CRT. Further, on the basis of the correction data, an operation of correcting image data is executed so that an image is accurately displayed on the image display apparatus. The corrected image data is outputted to the CRT. Thus, a defective display state such as image distortion, misconvergence, or the like can be corrected at low cost and a high quality image can be displayed.

摘要： An image forming apparatus includes a feeder means and a recorder. The feeder feeds a sheet of recording paper to a predetermined position in response to a spare paper feed signal instructing the feeding of the sheet of recording paper to the predetermined position preliminarily, and then feeds the sheet of recording paper being stopped at the predetermined position again in response to a record request signal. The recorder records an image on the sheet of recording paper fed by the feeder means through an electrophotographic process. The recorder means starts preparation to execute the electrophotographic process upon receiving the spare paper feed signal. As a result throughput is increased without causing other problems.

摘要： An image forming apparatus has an image forming unit which is detachably mounted in the stationary main part of the apparatus. The unit includes an image carrier with a photosensitive layer, a charging device capable of electrostatically charging the image carrier in contact therewith, and a housing supporting the image carrier and the charging device and provided with an exposure opening. An air flow is positively formed such that, with the image forming unit mounted in a predetermined mounting portion in the apparatus, air flows from regions near both ends of the image carrier towards the exposure opening past a region where the charging device contacts the image carrier. With this arrangement, ozone generated in the image forming unit due to operation of the contact type charging device is efficiently carried away from the image forming unit, thus eliminating generation of image defects attributable to presence of ozone and other discharge products.
