    • PURPOSE:To control independently the brake liquid pressure of two vehicle wheel brakes by means of three solenoid valves end two motor-driven pumps. CONSTITUTION:When the brake liquid pressure of vehicle wheel brakes 13, 14 is reduced suddenly, the brake liquid is made to flow out to a low pressure reserver 19 by operating a solenoid changeover valve 20. Although the brake liquid of the low pressure reserver 19 is returned to the vehicle wheel brakes 13, 14 by means of motor-driven pumps 23, 24, its flow is small, and does not hinder sudden depressurization. When a solenoid cutting-off valve 21 and/or a solenoid cutting-off valve 22 are/is operated, the slow pressure increase of the vehicle wheel brake 13 and/or the vehicle wheel brake 14 is carried out by the pressure delivery of the brake liquid from the motor-driven pumps 23, 24. When the operation of the solenoid changeover valve 20, the cutting-off valves 21, 22 is released, the sudden pressure increase of the brake liquid pressure of the vehicle wheel brakes 13, 14 is carried out.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive vehicular hydraulic braking device simple in constitution, and capable of executing anti-lock control and traction control. SOLUTION: As a hydraulic source giving hydraulic pressure to wheel brakes 11 and 12, this device is provided with a master cylinder 14 consisting of a hydraulic source for a low pressure range, an accumulator 19 consisting of a hydraulic source for an intermediate pressure range, and with a suction piston pump 17 consisting of a hydraulic source for a high pressure range. Pressure boosting for the wheel brakes is carried out by the master cylinder in a range of the brake pedal footing force F of 0 to F1, for a range of the brake pedal footing force F of F1 to F2, pressure boosting is carried out by the accumulator 19 with solenoid valves 28 and 29 closed, but with solenoid valves 30 and 31 opened, and for a range of the brake pedal footing force F of F2 to F3, pressure boosting is carried out by suction piston pump with the solenoid valves 28 and 29 closed, but with the solenoid valves 30 and 31 opened, and furthermore, with an electric motor 16 actuated. When the wheel brakes 11 and 12 are to be decompressed, the solenoid valves 28 through 31 are closed, and the solenoid valves 34 and 35 are opened.
