    • PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for reconstructing a 3 dimension model are provided to improve the accuracy of model by efficiently compensating damageable outer information by judging the inclusion of an object region based on the center of a voxel cube. CONSTITUTION: A three-dimensional voxel space definition unit(102) defines a three-dimensional voxel space based on the color texture information of an object and the silhouette information of a multi-viewpoint image. A visual hull model generator(104) projects the center of the defined voxel space onto the inputted silhouette image. A mesh model converter(200) calculates a triangular mesh structure of the three-dimensional voxel model for rendering, and a viewpoint-subordinate texture mapping unit(300) performs texture mapping dependent on the variation of a view point for the converted mesh model.

    • An image conversion device in a mobile apparatus and a method thereof are provided to support a real-time making environment for an image obtained from the field, thus a user can make the user's own UCC in real time as registering the UCC in a web environment. A pen style converter(206a) converts an original image into a pen style by using a separation Gaussian filter, and outputs the converted pen style. A cartoon style converter(206b) converts the original image into a cartoon style, and outputs the converted cartoon style. A mosaic generator(206c) generates a photo mosaic to be applied to the original image, based on an optimum photo image set. The mosaic generator applies the generated photo mosaic to the original image to output the image. An image output unit outputs the outputted images to an output device.
