    • A zinc oxide system multi-layered thin film and a method of manufacturing the same are provided to deposit a zinc oxide system thin film with multi-orientation feature at the crystal growth time by interposing a substrate and a calcium oxide interlayer thin film. A zinc oxide system multi-layered thin film includes a substrate, an interlayer thin film, and a zinc oxide system thin film. The interlayer thin film has calcium oxide(CaO). The zinc oxide system thin film simultaneously has two different crystal orientations. The zinc oxide system multi-layered thin film is used for a UV detector. The zinc oxide system thin film has at least one crystal orientation of ZnO (100) plane or ZnO (101) plane as well as ZnO (002) plane. The zinc oxide system thin film has a dopant of 0.5 ~ 10 wt % selected from the group consisting of Al, Ga, In, B, Ti, Se, V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, and Ni. The interlayer thin film having the calcium oxide(CaO) has a thickness range from 5 to 100 nm. The substrate is a glass or plastic substrate. The interlayer thin film and the zinc oxide system thin film are deposited by sputtering.

    • PURPOSE: An alkali metal oxide-free glass containing SiO2, B2O3, Al2O3, MgO, CaO, SrO, and BaO is provided to ensure light weight and proper fusibility. CONSTITUTION: An alkali metal oxide-free glass contains 60-72% of SiO2, 1-4% of B2O3, 4-12% of Al2O3, 9-14% of MgO, 6-9% of CaO, 1-6% of SrO, and 3-8% of BaO. The alkali metal oxide-free glass contains 19-25% of MgO+CaO+SrO+BaO. A method for manufacturing the glass comprises: a step of heating at 1500-1600 deg. C and fusing(S120); and a step of molding the fused glass(S130). The density and coefficient of thermal expansion of the alkalimetal oxide-free glass are 2.6g/cm^3 or less and 3.0×10^-6-4.6×10^-6/K, respectively. The alkali metal oxide-free glass has a viscosity of 10^2dPas at 1550 deg. C or less and a viscosity of 10^4dPas at 1220 deg. C or less.     • PURPOSE: A refractory brick for float bath and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve corrosion resistance and lower hydrogen diffusivity by oxide coating a surface. CONSTITUTION: A refractory brick for float bath(110) includes oxide-coating layer(111) in upper side which is in contact with molten metal(M). The refractory brick for float bath includes the oxide-coating layer in bottom side. The oxide is zirconia and the oxide-coating layer is coated with thermal spray method. A thickness of the oxide-coating layer is 0.1-1mm and porosity is 1% or less. A manufacturing method of refractory brick for float bath comprises a step of oxide-coating upper side of the refractory brick which is in contact with molten metal.
