摘要： PURPOSE: To solve a deaeration problem and to prevent the generation of precipitate by providing a distribution pipe with an inlet at one of its both ends and an outlet at the other, providing the pipe with a bushing, mounting these inlet, etc., to the pipe wall and providing the pipe wall with holes, by which coating material is uniformly distributed over the length of the distribution pipe. CONSTITUTION: A distribution pipe 6 extends across a web traveling direction and delivers the coating material on the front surface side. The distribution pipe has the coating material delivery holes 26 distributed over the length of the distribution pipe 6. The coating material passes the entire length of the distribution pipe 6 from the inlet 20 at its one end to the outlet 21 at the other end without the occurrence of a static state. Then, the coating material moves incessantly over the entire length of the pipe 6. Air bubbles 28 exist on the upper portion of the flow passage, hence on the side facing the holes 26. There is, therefore, no possibility that the coating material including the air bubbles 28 arrives at the top of the web through the holes 26. The pipe 6 is provided with the bushing 24 and since hole diameter (d) may be changed anytime, the regulation of the partial flow rate flowing out of the holes (6) is made possible.

The adhesive tape A protrudes out of this holding slot, from the upper part of which a cover foil is removed. A blowing device or blowing channels with blowing orifices 10 bend the part of the adhesive tape protruding out of the slot 6 upward. With the support beam 4 approaching the guide roll 2, this part of the adhesive tape is practically in contact with the contact surface 5. In this way, the adhesive tape can be fastened on the web end wrapping around the guide roll 2.
