    • A method and apparatus for user information processing in a network environment. The method performs an orthogonal transform on first and second vectors representing information related to first and second users respectively to obtain first and second transformed vectors. Then, the method splits the first and second transformed vectors into two parts respectively, such that first and second vectors cannot be derived from the first or second parts. The first and second user devices exchange the first part of the first transformed vector and the second part of the second transformed vector. The first and second user devices calculate the inner product of the first parts and the second parts respectively. Finally, the two inner products of the parts are summed to get an inner product of the first and second vectors. Also provided are a method and system for resource recommendation in a network environment.

    • A self-collimator planar spectroscopy shaping device for chirped pulse amplification (CPA): uses a spectrum decomposing system with CTSI construction, a spectrum synthesizing system with CTSI structure that is symmetrical to the decomposing structure, and a spectrum shaping system including an aperture and a planar reflector for spectrum shaping function design. The device accomplishes the following functions: firstly decomposing the spectrum of a chirped temporal pulse laser to a spectral domain; then shaping the spectrum in the spectral domain; finally synthesizing un-shiftily this shaped spectrum in the spectral domain into a temporal chirped pulse with a designed shape. The device has features of small size of concave reflector, easy fabrication, compact construction, little laboratory space needed, and cheap in cost, which it can be different types of configuration for different circumstance application, which it can be not only utilized in a general laser spectrum shaping and spectrum modulation, but also can be utilized for a high energy and ultra-high peak-power laser system in chirped pulse amplification with a large caliber and with a chirped pulse bandwidth of a few nanometers.

    • A switching power supply includes a rectifier circuit, a converter, a detecting unit, a control unit, a switching unit, and a protection unit. The rectifier circuit is used for rectifying an input voltage into a first direct current voltage. The converter is configured for generating a first current according to the first direct current voltage. The detecting unit is used for generating a detected voltage according to the first current. The control unit is configured for generating a control signal. The switching unit is used for enabling the converter, and conducting the first current to the detecting unit when receiving the control signal. The protection unit is configured for shunting the first current with the detecting unit when the first current becomes a large current surge. The control unit stops generating the control signal when determining that the detected voltage is equal to or higher than a predetermined value.

    • A metal vanadium film is used as an extraction electrode contacting with a vanadium oxide or doped vanadium oxide film. The electrode material is adapted for a detector, sensor and optical switch based on a vanadium oxide or doped vanadium oxide film. The metal vanadium film is in favor of reducing the thermal conductivity of the support structure of the array unit. The preparation process of the vanadium film using the metal vanadium as the source material is more easily controlled than that of NiCr film using the NiCr alloy as the source material. The extraction electrode of the present invention easily obtains an excellent metal-semiconductor contact characteristic.     • Event audio data that is based on verbal utterances associated with a pharmaceutical event associated with a patient may be received. Medical history information associated with the patient may be obtained, based on information included in a medical history repository. At least one text string that matches at least one interpretation of the event audio data may be obtained, based on information included in a pharmaceutical speech repository, information included in a speech accent repository, and a drug matching function, the at least one text string being associated with a pharmaceutical drug. One or more adverse drug event (ADE) alerts may be determined based on matching the at least one text string and medical history attributes associated with the at least one patient with ADE attributes obtained from an ADE repository. An ADE alert report may be generated, based on the determined one or more ADE alerts.
