摘要： A valve assembly (10) for use in a piping system (A) includes a valve (12) having an inlet (15) and outlet (17) arranged for connection to the piping system (A), and further includes a valve body (14), a control element disposed in a flow passage, and a shiftable valve stem (16) operatively coupled to the control element. Valve packing (56) is disposed about the valve stem (16) and is secured by a retainer assembly (54). An adapter plate (26) is provided and is attached to the valve body (14) by a plurality of gland bolts (28), with the adapter plate (26) and the gland bolts (28) cooperating to secure the retainer assembly (54). An actuator bracket (30) is provided and includes a first portion (36) and a second portion (36), with the first portion (36) secured to the adapter plate (26) by a plurality of fasteners (28), and an actuator (18) is secured to the second portion (36) of the actuator bracket (30) by a plurality of fasteners (28), with the actuator (18) having a control rod (20) operatively coupled to the valve stem (16).

A pressure regulator disclosed herein includes a device body defining a fluid passageway between an inlet and an outlet. The device body defines a channel between the fluid passageway and a pressure sense chamber. The pressure regulator includes a seat in the fluid passageway, a stem having a flange, and a plug coupled to the stem. The pressure regulator also includes a stem guide disposed in the channel of the device body. The flange of the stem disposed in a balance chamber of the stem guide and divides the balance chamber into a first balance chamber portion and a second balance chamber portion. The stem guide at least partially forms a balance passage that fluidly couples the pressure sense chamber and the second balance chamber portion.
