    • A method for performing file search using a control computer receives an initial query expression from a client computer, divides the initial query expression into one or more keywords, determines related terms corresponding to each keyword, merges the keywords and the related terms to obtain an updated query expression, and generates search results according to the updated query expression. The method further calculates relevance scores among a plurality of documents in the search results and the updated query expression, ranks the documents in the search results according to the relevance scores, and displays the documents in the search results with the ranked order.

    • A system for using XQuery files as a middleware to provide Web services is provided. The system includes a Web server. The Web server includes: an XQuery file definition module 410 programmed for defining an XQuery file, including defining input parameters for accepting data from data sources and defining addresses of the data sources; an XQuery file parsing module programmed for extracting the input parameters from the XQuery file and parsing the XQuery file according to the input parameters to create a source file of the Web service; a compiling module programmed for compiling the source file to an executable file of the Web service; and a WSDL file generating module programmed for generating a WSDL file of the Web service according to the executable file. A related method is also provided.

    • A computer-based method for requesting a Web service from a network server is disclosed. The method includes the steps of: receiving a service request from a user computer; invoking a corresponding Web service from a network server; determining whether the Web service is accessible in the network server; loading configuration information of the Web service if the Web service is accessible; generating a simple object access protocol (SOAP) request according to the configuration information, and sending the SOAP request to the network server for process; collecting response information of the network server, generating processing results, creating an instance of a user-defined class, assigning the processing results to variables in the instance of the class, and returning values of the variables to a business server. A related system is also disclosed.
