摘要： A method of obtaining information about the position and/or orientation of a magnetic component relatively to a magnetometric detector, the magnetic component and the magnetometric detector being moveable independently from each other relatively to a static secondary magnetic field, the method comprising the steps of: measuring in the presence of the combination of both the magnetic field of the magnetic component and the static secondary magnetic field essentially simultaneously the strength and/or orientation of a magnetic field at at least a first position and a second position spatially associated with the magnetometric detector, the second position being distanced from the first position; and combining the results of the measurements to computationally eliminate the effect of the secondary magnetic field and derive the information about the position and/or orientation of the magnetic component.

摘要： The invention deals with an apparatus (1) for suspended ultrasonography and corresponding method, wherein the apparatus comprises at least:
- a tank (2) for retaining an impedance-matching liquid (3), into which a body part (4) is insertable to be at least partially covered by the liquid (3);
- at least one ultrasonic transducer (5) to emit an ultrasound wave (6) and to receive a reflected ultrasound wave (7); and
- at least one moveable manipulator (8) for holding and guiding the at least one ultrasonic transducer (5),

wherein the at least one ultrasonic transducer (5) is arranged to produce images of a covered portion (9) of the respective body part (4) from at least a predetermined distance (10) without inducing pressure on the respective body part (4).
The proposed invention makes it very much easier to carry out suspension sonography and, moreover, a remarkable abbreviation of the required examination time is achieved.
