摘要： PURPOSE: To adjust the directions of the freely steerable axles of a bogie by causing at least one of the axles to point to the center of a curve of a rail when the bogie enters the curve, and positioning each wheel transversely relative to a track so that each wheel is at the same distance from the rail. CONSTITUTION: A servo control mechanism is always actuated when passing the linear or curved part of a rail. Sensors 1-4 are attached to axles 5, 6 and have the function of detecting the magnetic axis of symmetry of a related rail 7 or 8. Signals output from a servo control circuit control pairs of actuators 9 and 10, 11 and 12, 13 and 14, and 15 and 16 for the respective axles. The actuators are arranged generally longitudinally within a bogie and supported by the frames 17, 18 of the bogie to control the directions of the axles. Torques exerted by the actuators work in the direction advantageous for reducing recording result signals generated from the two sensors of each axle.

When the pressure inside and outside the vehicle is rapidly changed, the partition wall 16 is pressurized to the passages of the closing elements 14 and 15 so that the passages 23 and 24 can be completely or partially closed. This device is applied to a rail vehicle.

An elastic element symmetrically arranged on both sides of the balls 1 and 2 and a lengthwise shaft of rolling stock imparts lengthwise directional high resiliency (flexibility) by absorbing energy. This elastic element provides sideways high rigidity.
