摘要： A joining arrangement is provided for use in the construction of stud frame which includes a releasable attachment/detachment feature. The first member (plate) includes in at least one side wall a formation which, when members are joined, engages a corresponding formation in at least one wall of the second member (stud). The formation, such as a V-shaped protrusion, is/are disposed at an angle to the longitudinal axis of the member and the formation on the second member is disposed generally parallel to its longitudinal axis such that upon engagement of the first and second members, the respective formations in the first and second members engage such that they are in alignment, thereby, securing the first member to the second. Additionally, a plurality of protrusions, which provide a gripping feature, may be formed on the upper surface of web for inhibiting the stud from sliding, slipping, moving and/or migrating within the plate.

摘要： The assembly for generating a negative pressure in an industrial process according to the invention is characterized in that the interconnected units (1, 2, 3..) are formed with wedge-shaped connections (13, 14) in their mutually contacting surfaces. Intermediate units in the assembly, such as the ejector housing (2) of the drawing, are formed in each contact surface thereof with the same type of connections: accordingly, in one end the unit comprises a female connection (14) on one side thereof, and a male connection (13) on the opposite side, whereas the other end of the unit comprises a male connection on the first said side and a female connection on the opposite side. The connections comprise inclined slide surfaces (11, 12), providing a hook mount which presses the units together in a wedging effect as the units are axially displaced relative to each other, the displacement being produced by means of a bolt (10) acting between the units.

摘要： The lightweight metal construction system begins with a beam (300, 302) formed from a single piece of cold formed sheet steel or other sheet metal which is bent lengthwise along four lines to form a triangular cross section with two wings, side-by-side, extending from its apex. Various connectors (304, 306) which have lengths much shorter than the lengths of the beams are provided for attaching one beam to another. Connectors include gussets made of sheet metal or wood stud sections. The ends of the beams may be modified to form joints which are used to connect two beams together or to connect the beam to another construction material. Brackets formed from strips of sheet steel or other metal are bent to conform to outer surfaces of the beams or other construction materials are used to attach the beams to other beams or other construction materials. Fasteners or adhesive may be used to firmly attach the joints, connectors and/or brackets to the beams and construction materials.

摘要： The present invention provides a woodworking worktable assembly (10) which may be used in combination with a multi-purpose woodworking tool. The worktable assembly includes a worktable (18) having a work supporting surface (20) and an elongated slot (22) formed therein. A guide insert (32) is positioned within the slot and includes a horizontal base portion (34) and opposing side arms (36, 38) for guiding a guide bar portion of a miter guide (12). Lip portions (44, 46) extend inwardly toward the center of the insert from the upper ends of the arm portions and serve to prevent the miter guide from being lifted vertically away from the slot. In addition, the base of the insert is spaced from the lower portion of the slot by foot portions (40, 42) extending along the length of either side of the base and fasteners (56) are provided at the center of the insert for drawing the base toward the lower slot surface. Thus, by tightening the fasteners such that the base is drawn toward the slot surface, the arm portions are caused to pivot inwardly such that the tolerance between the insert and a miter guide received therein may be adjusted.
