    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system capable of eliminating or substantially reducing a possibility that cell particles contained in a fluid flow which has been early subjected to segregation processing are remained in respective components in the system, and the remained cell particles enter into another fluid flow when the another fluid is subjected to the segregation processing.SOLUTION: The system for analyzing the cell particles contained in the fluid flow includes: a fluid flow formation block constituting a flow cell including a flow chamber for receiving a sample liquid conductor and a flow channel; and a strobe block having an imaging section for imaging an image in predetermined regions of jet flow jetted out of the fluid flow formation block and a plurality of droplets. In the system, the fluid flow formation block and the strobe block are detachably fixed to the system.

    • Aspects of the present disclosure include methods and systems for determining drop delay of a flow stream in a flow cytometer. Methods according to certain embodiments include obtaining a first frequency (f1) of drop perturbation of a flow stream subjected to an oscillating vibration, capturing one or more images of the flow stream in a detection field, obtaining a second frequency (f2) of drop perturbation of the flow stream based on one or more of the captured images and determining the drop delay of the flow stream based on the first frequency and the second frequency. Systems for practicing the subject methods having an imaging sensor for capturing one or more images of the flow stream and a processor configured to calculate drop delay using one or more of the captured images are also provided. Non-transitory computer readable storage mediums are also described.
