    • PURPOSE:To prevent adherence of foods to the ceiling plate of the titled oven range by applying a fluororesin coat onto the surface of the ceiling plate made of iron or formed with an enameled film on the surface of an iron sheet or the like. CONSTITUTION:The surface of an iron-made ceiling plate 2 is coated with a fluororesin 5 such as polyterafluoroethylene and applied with a film, whereby, because of non-tackiness possessed by the fluororesin, adherence of foods to the ceiling plate 1 is prevented. The heat-resisting temperature of the fluororesin is about 200 deg.C, and the heater of the oven is disposed on the upper surface and the lower surface within the range and is separated from the ceiling plate. Therefore, in a state where foods are placed in the range, the temperature of the ceiling plate becomes 200 deg.C or less, and hence it gives rise no problem. However, it is desirable that the watt density of the heater is 5w/cm or less.

In this way, a micro- wave oven shows an improved durability in practical application and its quality is improved. As regards a characteristic of stain, it is possible to make an inner wall of the oven with less disturbance in quality.

    • PURPOSE:To further ensure the application of heat resistant painting over the basic material of heating box and to improve its heat resisting and durable characteristics, by arranging such that the heating box has an aluminum plating layer applied over the surface of each metallic wall thereof, and the wall has a surface treatment and a heat resistant painting applied thereon for forming rugged surface thereon. CONSTITUTION:A steel plate 6 formed as a basic material constituting each wall section of a heating box has an aluminum plating layer 7 of substantially 30- 40mum thickness H applied over the surface thereof. Irregularities having a height H of substantially 20mum as measured from a crest to a trough are formed over the aluminum plating layer by a surface treatment method such as a sand blasting and the like. Moreover, a polytetrafluoroethylene layer 8 is applied as a heat resisting painting over the aluminum plating layer 7 having irregularities formed thereon. The application of aluminum plating permits the use of steel plate for the basic material of heating box, which leads to a less costly manufacture. Furthermore, the steel plate cannot be exposed by the damage of painted film over the surface of heating box and therefore a freedom from corrosion is ensured.
