    • A wind-power generating device (1) with automatic adjustment to wind direction includes a post (10), a wind-guiding shroud (20), and a generator assembly (30). The post (10) has a fixed section (11) and a rotatable section (12) pivotally connected to an upper portion of the fixed section (11). The wind-guiding shroud (20) is fixed to the rotatable section (12). The interior of the wind-guiding shroud (20) is formed with an accommodating space (211), and the exterior thereof is formed with an outer curved surface (212) expanding gradually toward its rearward. The generator assembly (30) is fixed in the accommodating space (211). The outer curved surface (212) is blown by the wind, so that the wind-guiding shroud (20) can rotate with automatic adjustment to the wind direction by the rotatable section (12).

    • A wind-driven power generator comprises a substantially horizontal roof including upper and lower roof members each having a peripheral edge and a contoured pressure reducing surface. The roof members are disposed in a spaced-apart relationship with the pressure reducing surfaces facing each other and defining an air space therebetween. The distance between the pressure reducing surfaces varies from a maximum spacing at the peripheral edges of the roof members to a minimum spacing at an intermediate location of the roof members. The power generator further includes a vertical suction pipe having an upper end connected to the lower roof member in flow communication with the air space at the intermediate location of the lower roof member. The lower end of the suction pipe extends downwardly from the lower roof member. An impeller is disposed in the suction pipe at the lower end thereof and rotates when air flows horizontally through the air space. In accordance with Bernoulli effect, the increase in speed of the horizontal air flow at the intermediate location creates a pressure reduction in the air space at the upper end of the suction pipe and draws air up through the suction pipe to rotate the impeller. The impeller preferably is connected to an electrical generator that generates electricity when the impeller rotates.

    • A system for conversion of wind power to electrical energy. The system provides for use during a wide range of wind velocities by use of the following: an external deflection system consisting of baffles and peripheral turbulence creating walls designed to increase the wind velocity and to divert the wind stream to the aperture of the system; a chamber for the collection and compression of the wind thereby further increasing the wind velocity if necessary; a deflection system for diverting wind from the chamber in high winds; a rigid circumferential tip face at the fan circumference whereby the fan blades fit into the tip race for support; a center deflector to divert the wind force to the fan blade tips; a tip-mounted generating system utilizing induction fields to obtain electrical energy and a system to vary the strength of the induction field so a constant blade speed may be obtained over a range of wind speeds and conditions.
