    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turbo machine having a mixed-flow stage, and its method.SOLUTION: There are provided a method for imparting energy to a multi-phase fluid, and the turbo machine. The turbo machine includes a casing having an inlet and an outlet, an axial stage portion including at least one axial stage, a mixed-flow stage portion including at least one mixed-flow stage which is fluid-connected to the axial stage portion, and a centrifugal stage portion including at least one centrifugal stage which is fluid-connected to the mixed-flow stage portion. The axial stage is defined by an angle having a value between 0° to 5° between an axial impeller outlet flow and an axial line parallel with a rotating axial line of a shaft, the mixed-flow stage is defined by an angle having a value between 5° to 80°, and the centrifugal stage is defined by an angle having a value between 80° to 90°.

    • A fire fighting pump and operation thereof and a fire fighting system and a fire engine, wherein the pump includes a housing, a motor mounted inside the housing and two or more stages of series-connected impeller assemblies. A water inlet is provided on the housing between the motor and the impeller assemblies. The impeller assemblies are mounted on the impeller shaft coaxially and in series with each other. The impeller shaft is fixed on the motor shaft or is coaxial with the latter. The impeller assembly includes a thruster, an impeller, an end cover and a retaining ring on the periphery of the thruster and the impeller, and those four elements are installed in turn. Several first blades are provided in the thruster and several second blades which correspond with the first blades in amount and location are provided in the impeller.

    • A motor and its blade unit include a blade unit made of a conical fundamental body and a plurality of blades formed around the surface of the conical fundamental body. The blades of the blade unit are multi-sectioned ones of different sizes. These blades increase water flowing speed with help of the centrifugal force produced by rotating of the blade unit, and quickly guide water to flow along the outer wall of a motor and out of the motor, not to flow reversely back to a shaft. At the same time these blades can cut impurities in water preventing the motor from clogged by impurities, increasing water flowing-out speed, lowering motor load and electricity consumption and saving motor horsepower to prolong its service life, and also possible to be combined with various types of motors for extensive use.
